The outer material is goat leather with a DWR treatment, which looks and feels lovely and is also durable. We love the colour combo on our test pair which have brown leather and contrasting teal softshell gauntlets. Adjustment comes from two points; a Velcro closure around the wrist and a drawstring at the end of the cuff. These both work impeccably well, holding fast in cold, wet conditions and are both easily adjusted with a gloved hand

Love the feel and look. Best part of these gloves has the be the wrist strap. I have had frostbite exposure to my fingers previously so my hands eventually get cold in or Northeast northern NY winters (-10 degrees this past weekend).

I just couldn't justify spending $145 on gloves at the time. So when they dropped to $80 on Amazon I knew I had to get them. I followed the sizing guide from Hestra and they fit as expected.
