A few months ago I bought myself some Daiwa J braid fishing line. I needed new braided fishing line and the shop I went into did not stock my usual line. I decided on Daiwa J braid as a substitute on the advice of the lady at the shop.
Since buying this braided fishing line I have promised a number of people that I would film a review of it, but I needed to use it for a while and give it time first. 
Well, after a few months of using the 50lb Daiwa J braid braided fishing line, I have finally had the chance to film my fishing line review, and here it is.

 Hey guys, MrMain500 here, we're back, tuning back in again, getting another line review done for you guys. I've been using this line for a bit now, I've bought a couple spools of it, and I'm liking it so far. Just a few minor things about the line that I want to talk about, but it's a company that I know well, and I've been using a lot of different series of their lines, and that's Sufix. The stuff that I'm talking about today is this stuff, the Sufix Elite Series monofilament

 But yeah, it's really great. I even use it for leaders a couple times, I still have the 10 pound stuff, I just use it for leaders, let's say if I have a braid on, like that suffix 832 that I love, but it's really expensive, if I wanted a leader for that, let's say I was trodfish and I didn't want to change my lines, I just wanted to throw on a leader, this stuff would do awesome. So it's pretty good, great for soft plastics fishing because it's really hard to see, like I find with a lot of other monofilament is that it's really hard to see. Pretty sensitive as far as that's concerned, no more or less than their braided lines, but it's still a good line

 Yeah, and what we tell people is you got to be very careful Don't just buy fluorocarbon line to use as a leader Because the line that's designed for casting like a hundred percent castable fluorocarbon is not as stiff as the fluorocarbon leader material So this is the actual leader material and if you tried to spool this onto your spinning reel, it would fly off It would be like a coil because it's so stiff. So it's only designed to use as leader material So using the right stuff, you don't have to pack a lot of stuff We pack actually quite light but having the right stuff can make a big difference. So you have a great trip.

I talked about the monofilament line if you wouldn't mind here just grabbing the fluorescent the fluorocarbon leader That's out of the pack the line that you can see is on this reel is very white looking and it's actually the Suffolk elite And it's eight pound test You could go lighter here, but you could get I don't know about a world record But you can get some really big brook job. We've heard stories of like five to seven pounders that would make those guys look dwarfish You know, so this is the actual line that we both spooled up with and then what I've done I don't know if Aaron's done it but for the last almost foot and a half here You can see I've got a really tight blood knot I actually have a fluorocarbon leader and it's not so much because I need the invisibility of it This line is pretty invisible. It's that it's a little bit more resistant to getting Cut up by the teeth or scratched up from hitting the rocks and stuff

I recommend anyone that's listening to this video, do not buy this Elite Sufix stuff. I would recommend the Trilene Tough. Never buying Sufix again

Sufix has changed manufacturing locations from Taiwan to China. I recently used Sufix Elite eight pound test. The line broke three times just by reeling a in deep diving Rapala and casting.

 Just hit that little soft plastic. You know, if I hadn't been able to see that bite, I probably wouldn't have even felt it. When you've got a bright line like that, it tells you when the fish are there.
