I have been searching for a comfy fanny pack that I can wear slung across my chest. This is super comfy to wear and holds keys, a wallet, and phone comfortably. Great for running errands or using when at a store with my toddler to keep my hands free. This seems to look like the Dagne Dover fanny pack, which is why I first looked at it but I can't provide a good comparison of them

 All buckles and zippers move easily and feel sturdy. I got the black - now I just wish that they would make some lighter neutral colors!

 Opening this up I'll just show you the things that I have in the middle and then some of the organization you get on the inside. So I do have my cell phone in there. My daughter ate an applesauce while we were waiting for the boys to get out of class and I actually have taken this hiking before and it can fit at least I know because I have three kids, it does fit at least three snacks. I have some hand sanitizer in here and now you can see more of the organization that you get on the inside over here

 I like that the neoprene kind of hides this zipper and the neoprene is super like soft and squishy. Of course you guys know I love Dagny Dover's Neoprene. Oh I forgot to mention this color is the color ash blue and it's really an awesome blue because it's kind of like a good pair of jeans that matches with everything. All right

 the plastic pieces on this bag feels like it can break or wear over time. For a product at this price point you expect the whole bag to be quality craftsmanship. i would like the buckle and the other plastic pieces to be a harder plastic or metal or something that feels more durable and an adjustable strap would be nice for ppl who have a wider chest. it’s okay for me slightly tight for reference i am about 44 inches around the chest

i really like the style of the bag and i love the way the bag sits close to the body when i wear it over my shoulder. it is no wider than a galaxy note 8 but it doesn’t feel too bulky. there is a hidden compartment closer to the chest for small items such as a wallet. there is enough room and compartments inside of your only carrying daily essentials such as phone, sunglasses, wallet, earbuds and sanitizer

an almost perfect bag

 I found that by using the hooks to pull the bag in, it had a tendency to allow condense the bag from the sides as well, leaving with scrunched up material on the sides. Also the weatherproof design of the zippers is fantastic if you’re in inclement weather but had a tendency to not be as smooth to use in everyday use.

The material firstly is not a slick and shiny as it may appear in some photos but at the same time it lacks a structure which means it should pack well, but can look odd since if it’s empty it dents and presses in.

Tries to be too much of everything

 Hey everyone in today's video we check out the WANDED D1 Fanny Pack. A small, minimal, but heavy duty bag that can be worn around the waist or crossbody. I'm Ed from Rush Faster and we do guides and walkthroughs bringing you better gear and better ways to carry so if any of that sounds good to you or you're new to the channel please consider subscribing. Let's jump right in and check out the D1 Fanny Pack from WANDED

 A common thing with fanny packs or sling bags especially when you wear it on the body is that the bag can tend to sag forward or kind of lean forward and that's typically because of the contents inside the bag and so this can make for an uncomfortable carry or an awkward carry and it kind of looks a bit weird as a profile on the body. So I wanted to actually try to address this by adding in this hook and loop system and so these g-hooks kind of sit behind this back panel here it's a bit of a pass through you can feed your whole hand through that but there are these g-hooks here hidden behind the back panel which actually if you grab this loop here just by the brand tab here and just loop it through that g-hook it kind of brings the strap and the back panel a bit close to the body. Do that on the other side as well and so once you wear it cross body it kind of wraps around your body much nicely and you can access your gear much better and it's a bit more of a comfortable carry and so that's a very clever thing from WANDRD that they've implemented there just to help carry the bag better. A little bit of a pro tip for you I'm not sure if others have noticed this but if you really want to make sure your bag is secure from pickpocketers and thieves and things like that and obviously you've got this compartment here this discrete compartment that already has that kind of zipper pull to protect people from getting in that compartment for these big zippers here you can actually feed those loops through this g-hook and once those are fed in you can't actually get access to the main compartment no one can really get access especially if you're wearing it over your back or even on your front no one can really get inside and so you're really going to protect your gear by kind of locking away those zippers behind this back panel

 On the sides of the bag just at the end of these zipper paths are these little pull tabs that have a little bit of WANDED branding on them. They're really useful for getting a good grip of the bag whilst you open up the main compartment, whilst you pull on those zippers. They just make it super easy to get inside the main compartment and they give you much more control of those zippers. So getting into the main compartment I've got it fairly packed out with a few items of gear

 Okay, so I've been using this thing for quite a while now, like months. It's actually pretty much my go-to sling. I don't do a lot of slings on this channel, so when I get a new one, I use it. But I inevitably find myself going back to this one because of how simplistic and easy it is to use, and just how much I really enjoy the organization, the comfort, and just the materials and the design overall are just something that I personally really enjoy

 I can just throw this on, throw my bag on, and then as I'm walking, or if I need to, I can step aside, grab everything I need out of here, and I'm good to go. Personally, I think that a sling is a better travel companion than a packable day bag, depending on what you need when you get. It's all preference, but for me, I don't like bringing a packable day bag. I don't like bringing a regular daily carry bag

 I don't do a lot of slings on this channel, so when I get a new one, I use it. But I inevitably find myself going back to this one because of how simplistic and easy it is to use, and just how much I really enjoy the organization, the comfort, and just the materials and the design overall are just something that I personally really enjoy. The joy of the time when I'm using this, this is basically when I take my dog on long walks or anything like that. I'm not going hiking

 It's all preference, but for me, I don't like bringing a packable day bag. I don't like bringing a regular daily carry bag. I think a sling can pretty much fit everything I need, unless.

Wandrd makes solid products that are great for multiple occasions. The D1 fanny is one of my favorites for walking the dog, travel, or just when I need a nice fanny/sling. With great materials and minimal organization it’s almost the perfect sling.

 So you can throw, whether it's snacks, whether it's, you know, little camera accessories, whether it's your wallet, your sunglasses, your phone, there's enough room for some essentials. And then behind that, there are two other little divider pockets, let me show you that. The key clip is right here, it's a nice little robust feeling clip, and what's interesting about it is there's this little divider in this back pocket. So if you do have your keys in here, it's going to keep them separate so they won't scratch or interfere with your other stuff, which is actually a really nice little design consideration, you know, with a sling bag this size, if you just had your keys in here all loose, they'd knock into whatever else you had in the bag

 Sometimes this material does scratch easily, but it's pretty tough stuff, so it should be fine. Another thing that they've done for weather resistance is the zipper, you know, it's kinda got this weather resistant zip on it. Those can be sticky, which is kinda what happens when you start adding things like that, but what's nice is they've included these little pull tabs here on the side, on each side, so you can really hold it, rip the zipper no problem. So that's pretty great

 There's this pass through there, you can kind of see here, I can fit my hand in, which is good for hiding the strap, you know, if you have a lot of excess, you can do that. I really wouldn't store anything in here because it's just a pass through. There's a bit of a clip in here also, a little bit of a G hook. And then the strap itself, you know, it's kind of like that nylony seatbelt type material, it's got this nice big magnetic buckle on here
