Want to make a truly GREAT baked potato? Get 2-3 nice big brown Russet potatoes, wash well, poke the surface with a fork all around about a dozen times (just enough to pierce the skin, you don't have to jam the fork in there) to release steam, then lightly olive-oil the entire surface and sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper and garlic powder all over - the oil will allow the spices to stick. Then roast in this air fryer for 60 minutes total at 400F, you can only set a max time of 30 minutes, but that's fine because you should turn them halfway anyway. These will probably be the best bakers you've ever tasted; it works great. And eat the skin - it's delicious and very nutritious

Probably, everyone (including experienced TO cooks), will need to develop skill in using this appliance. It cooks fast! You will need to keep an eye on all of your preps, until you learn how to use it. I prepared 4 quiches (from scratch--blind baking the pate brisee) in tart bake ware. My tip for steak is to significantly cook it less than you think. For example: we found a steak recipe online that suggested around 15 minutes in the air fryer so this is what we did. It was terrible and rubbery. The second time we tried it, we cut the time down to around 12 minutes- still too much

My only complaint is that if I were to do it again, I'd get a bigger one. This one fits enough to easily make dinner for two in one round, but dinner for three or more means several rounds of cooking if you want to do the whole thing in the air fryer. Of course we could go back to using the oven and stove, but this thing produces such great food, we often want to do several dishes in it for one meal.

e. a healthier way to get close to fried results and enjoy the foods you normally do without the hassle of a toaster oven, cleaner, easier to use and safer to use. It's so faster than a toaster oven and closer to fried food style. This particular unit took a little messing around with to learn the controls and temperature but i don't have time for that

For everything we cook in it (think cheese sticks, pizzas, reheated foods, chicken strips, etc), we place parchment paper under the 'basket' thing on the tray - this makes clean up a snap.

If these didn't turn out well, I just wasted more money, but to my surprise these chicken tenders turned out AMAZING! Just as good as any restaurant. Perfect crisp on the outside and juicy/tender on the inside. This was all great, but now I had to face cleaning it. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised because it's made out of nonstick material and cleaning was a breeze!! To top it off, it barely takes up any space on my counter
