It disassembled pretty well for cleaning but some of the dirtiest parts of the fryer are not water prof and are much harder to wash as they can't be submerged. I also feel it heats up very slowly and my oil burnt after one use even though past fryers have had oil remain good for multiple uses. The temoerature doesn't get as Hugh as some other fryers. This one doesn't even go to 400 and the reccomended frying temoerature of some foods is 390 so it's hard ti get those right

I felt the edges of the lid were too sharp. I prefer a fryer with an attached lid so I can close the lid, then lower the basket. That's just safer. There is no charcoal filter

No big deal but good to be aware of it when lifting. Biggest advantage of this type of fryer is obviously the separate oil pot which allows for best cleaning. There are some sharpish edges on the pot to contend with when lifting the pot from the main body.

The price is great for such great performance. I bought this when there were no reviews at all, so I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I am very glad that I picked this one. Cooking capacity is perfect and performance is excellent. I bought my mom the same one and she loves hers too

The Bad; It takes up some counter space and is not compact, however, if you want to fry decent amounts of food, a larger bin such as this one is needed. The break away cord is short and PIA. The unit has to be near the outlet, otherwise It'll pull it out if you move the unit more than a couple inches. Minor annoyance

Maybe someone else will have a use for it. Just not big enough . Do yourself a favor and make sure you look at the dimensions of the basket, otherwise, your just going to have a fryer that will handle frying one potato….

That said, with the fryer set to its highest temperature (375 degrees), it heated the cooking oil and indicated it was ready to use fairly quickly. Like others have mentioned, it actually reached a maximum temperature of 362 degrees, 13 degrees shy of the setting. My last negative comment doesn't come as a surprise because its dimensions are stated. It's small

Every time you clean it you need to have the care of a brain surgeon basically because you don't want any water to reach the rest of the appliance. Needless to say, this makes the cleaning way more stressful than it should be, hence making this appliance VERY DIFFICULT to clean as far as I'm concerned since I don't really care about washing something by hand myself. Why did I buy this unit then? Well, I was under the impression that you could take the bowl off, I even searched the Q&A looking for this info and someone says that you could do it.
