 All of this looks great on paper, but let's take a quick look at a couple prints I got off the Ender 2 Pro. This is the conical flask in vase mode by clock spring. It's printed in atomic filament and came out great. This mini gym by Wexter was also printed in that atomic indigo golden sparkle filament, and it came out virtually perfect

Everything looks kind of good on that end And we'll get this guy screwed back in And I do love that they gave this kind of some swing that that's kind of a nice thing because I can swing it and put the Condensed the printer for better storage So that is a nice feature So wiring all looks good So now we got to wire in this guy so we'll get the control panel We'll get him plugged in and We'll pull that tape back We'll get this guy in his slots We'll slot him home All right, so that's looking good Got it good and connected And now at this point it's adjustment so We're done with the instruction book. We're actually going to get this guy powered on We're going to power them on for a little bit make sure everything looks right then I am going to set this guy aside so Um, the reason why i'm going to set it aside is one i'm going to plan on doing a hey We used it video But two I I'm not going to use this I see a tangled horrible mess right here and I don't have a normal spool up here because my expectation From creality was the half spool that we would normally get with an ender three or cr-10 and we didn't get that so I'm going to be uh Have to wait to actually power her on And I don't see a switch for voltage A lot of times I would expect to see a 115 or a 230 volt switch I don't see that on that this machine

So this is my Ender 2 heavily modded I actually came by this one secondhand, but it's a great little fantastic printer a small build plate Especially if you're wanting to do small stuff. Well Creality turned around and this year released the Pro version All of a sudden we're back to it to the small printer now we release this in competition to the Ender 3 which is a bit bigger and not as mobile as This printer it can be so one thing I'm going to talk about is if you're curious about the assembly check out my stream Because we did it live, but also I want to talk about pros and cons of this printer What I felt was great about it what I felt was wrong about it So this is actually the review now that I've used it for a week or so and kind of done some prints with it So I want to take a look at it and give you guys some true information that I think is relevant when you're considering your purchase If you guys are interested in this now one of the things to keep in mind that build platform

 This isn't going to work. This is going to be too small but if you're doing small prints like Some of the pokemon figures and stuff like that. You can still print a very tall narrow item So kind of keep that in mind uh As you kind of work through this one, it does kind of allow you to uh Uh to have some kind of cool fun stuff But definitely a good one. 3D Printer Ender 2 Pro Review

 Either way, I have to return it, as I don't want to have to start replacing parts on it weeks after purchase.

Bowden tube clogs immediately during each print

 We printed this bendy moveable slug and it came out absolutely fine, all the joints move, bends, twists, turns, an actual really good quality print. Ok then I went and printed this vase type bowl, fruit bowl type thing. This suffered from a little tiny bit of stringing here and there, I don't even know if you can see it, you might be able to see it. You just see some bit of stringing down here but you know, hold a lighter, something like that or just run your fingers over it or come straight off and as you can see the quality of this print is absolutely fantastic

 Also knocked off a bearing, now sometimes printers will struggle to print these, they'll print them but then they won't spin but as you can see with this one it will spin and turn and move just fine. It's a little bit tight because like a fool I printed it with a brim so a bit of the brim is still stuck here on the bottom which is obviously hindering the movement but if you didn't print it with a brim it would be absolutely fine. I mean I haven't done anything with the slicing program, I mean I'm just using Cura, running it on the Ender 2 profile, I haven't tweaked it or anything at all so with a little bit of tweaking the print quality from this thing would be absolutely amazing but I am so impressed with how this thing is printing, I mean it was £120 over here in the UK which for a 3D printer is actually quite cheap. Yes I know you've not exactly got the biggest bill plate but for printing smaller things it's absolutely ideal

 And that is the only issue I had because this thing was wobbling a lot but now it's stable. So that is the only issue that I have had with this printer. Apart from that it's been absolutely perfect and it has been an absolute joy to use. , The Ender-3 wins on size and price, obviously it’s about 380€ for the Prusa Mini and about 280€ for the Ender.. Both use Trinamic drivers both have a similar-size color screen and the menus on the Ender, even look really similar to what Prusa have. However, on features the Mini

As always, I was just using the included profiles and the prints look basically indistinguishable from what my MK3 produces, which means it’s pretty much as good as it gets.. I tried the Prusament PLA PETG ASA, even their polycarbonate blend and even a shore 95A flexible filament

The next "BIG" thing: Prusa Mini review!

**Size preference:** The larger the bed the better I assume, but as noted in circumstances, if a very firm table is required then probably something in the 200-300mm range max - which could be the max anyways for my price range.  

**Printer:** From spending an hour reading questions/answers in this thread, I'm assuming the Prusa Mini+ may be a good option to start our learning experience. Perhaps Sidewinder x2 or Neptune 2s? And to stay away from Ender 3's because of the challenges/time needed for maintenance?

* If you are willing to build the printer from a kit, and what your level of experience is with electronic maintenance and construction if so.
* What you wish to do with the printer.
* Any extenuating circumstances that would restrict you from using machines that would otherwise fit your needs (limited space for the printer, enclosure requirement, must be purchased through educational intermediary, etc).

While this is by no means an exhaustive list of what can be included in your posts, these questions should help paint enough of a picture to get started. Don't be afraid to ask more questions, and never worry about asking too many. The people posting in this thread are here because they want to give advice, and any questions you have answered may be useful to others later on, when they read through this thread looking for answers of their own. Everyone here was new once, so chances are whoever is replying to you has a good idea of how you feel currently.

Additionally, a quick word on print quality: Most FDM/FFF (that is, filament based) printers are capable of approximately the same tolerances and print appearance, as the biggest limiting factor is in the nature of extruded plastic. **Asking if a machine has "good prints," or saying "I don't expect the best quality for $xxx" isn't actually relevant for the most part** with regards to these machines. Should you need additional detail and higher tolerances, you may want to explore SLA, DLP, and other photoresin options, as those *do* offer an increase in overall quality. If you are interested in resin machines, make sure you are aware of [how to use them safely](https://www.reddit.com/r/3DPrinting/wiki/resinprinting#wiki_safety). For these safety reasons we don't usually recommend a resin printer as someone's first printer.

 It'S a very nice print, it's very smooth. This is one key piece that i put on my desk because this this is i'm amazed that this filament, this pteg is printed on the prusa mini overall, a absolutely astonishing print of the prusa mini. So what do i think about the prusa mini? This is a small 3d print. I have to be honest with you because it is small, but what can i do? It can print all of the things that i showed you in this video

 After some adjustment i got some prints out of it. Some nice looking prints also the ctc prusa, the prusak clone after several months of conversions and other things i did with the sprinter, i got some nice prints out of there. Also the anet et4. I got some nice decent points out of there

 Well. I printed some stuff off fixing dude i've printed, some stuff off photos mint and i thought well, let's go for wexter, look at this bruce willis or john mcclane.  However, you have a very nice rotary dial that works pretty nice further on the back side where the cantilever arm is attached to. There is also your main board controller box or your control box for your main board. There. You have a switch button for switching on and off your 3d printer there's, a usb connector on that side, a very tiny micro, a very tiny micro, a usb connector and also next to it a reset button and on the back side, you have your power connector

 But with this I  feel that if they needed to hit a certain price point for the Mini they should not have swapped the probes for one that was not fit for the job. If the Super PINDA was included on day one it would have made the quality of life so much better. I feel as early adopters and loyal fans of the products we are getting the shaft.
