 Now that really is quite high for a memory module, so if you're going to choose this RAM kit for a system, make sure that you check the clearances around your CPU cooler and other components to ensure there won't be any conflict. The kit that I have here today is a 32 gigabyte kit made up of four eight gigabyte modules running at a stock frequency of three gigahertz with timings of 15, 17, 17, 35, 2T. Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 Review and Performance Test

 The vengeance LPX is designed for X99 chipsets, which supports quad channel memory and the vengeance LPX is built to utilise this to its maximum potential. By using Intel's XMP 2.0 software, for which the vengeance LPX has native support, we were able to achieve speeds of 3733MHz. Something that will be seen on all DDR4 RAM is the lack of backwards compatibility

 We got to look at the Corsair Vengeance LPX, the first DDR4 member of the Vengeance line. The Vengeance LPX is more closely matched to the Vengeance LP than the standard Vengeance. The LP and the LPX have smaller heat spreaders, meaning they are able to fit into more compact setups. The smaller heat spreaders may have a small impact on overclocking ability, as the RAM will theoretically be less able to dissipate heat, but the low voltage nature of DDR4 should more than make up for this

 Karl has spoken more in depth about RAM disks and their limitations in the written review, so if you're interested, make sure you check that out. It's quite hard to analyse benchmarks of latest technologies, as there's nothing to properly compare it to. For that reason I'm just going to be showing some raw benchmark data, so you can get a basic idea of how fast the RAM is. I should note that the accuracy of these results may be varied, as I'm unsure whether or not the benchmarking software is properly able to test DDR4 RAM

I built my own PC back in 2016 with parts mostly purchased from MicroCenter. They recommended the Corsair Vengeance RAM for me back then due to its great value for money and compatibility with my motherboard. Unfortunately back in 2016 I only bought 8 GB thinking this would be enough. Fast-forward to 2020, unsatisfied with gaming on 8 GB of RAM (not to mention Chrome being a huge memory hog), and seeing RAM prices so cheap I purchased another 8 GB to fill up my memory card slots

 I certainly wish I would have bought these sooner as ~$50 (bringing me to 16 GB of RAM) gets me immensely improved gaming performance and nonexistent virtual memory swapping. For me that is a terrific bang for your buck. Installation is of course very easy; unlock my two open memory slots and slide the RAM modules right in. It's great to see Corsair has kept the design of their RAM modules unchanged since 2016 as you wouldn't know which ones are the new and old modules

These kits have been designed specifically to maximize compatibility with AMD's Ryzen third-generation CPUs and X570 motherboards. Currently, kits are being offered at speeds ranging from 2666 all the way up to 3800 MHz at a variety of different capacities, latencies, and configurations. The kit that I have here today runs at a speed of 3600 MHz with timings of 16, 19, 19, 39 in a dual 2x 16GB configuration for a total of 32GB

 So having said all that, 3600 MHz is probably the fastest kit of RAM that most people should be looking at if they're interested in maintaining that 1 to 1 ratio. Using this 3600 MHz kit, along with a Ryzen 9 3950X and an Asus ROG Strix X570E gaming motherboard, I have not experienced any issues whatsoever. The performance has been rock solid stable in every game that I have played, and when editing and encoding, 4K video in DaVinci Resolve. The RGB lighting implementation on these modules is actually pretty awesome

 Not that I've ever done that. G.Skill Trident Z Neo memory kits are awesome looking, high speed, high performance, and optimized for Ryzen third generation CPUs and X570, and they're also covered by G.Skill's limited lifetime warranty, which is always nice to know

 But they saw a benefit of actually using four sticks compared to two sticks. So our test system is a Ryzen 2700 CPU on an Asus Prime Pro X470 motherboard. Now, once again, full disclaimer, there were a few issues when we put the Titan Z Neo sticks into the system and we obviously activated the DOCP profiles, which is basically like your Intel XMP profiles pushing it up to the speed that it's rated for 3600 megahertz. So an issue that we came across was when we tried running a game, the system would crash

Is the 10% performance gain worth it for the 500 Rand difference price tag? That's something I guess I'd have to leave up to you, especially if you're planning on running a kit like this on an older system like the Ryzen 2700, which may have issues, I think, with the memory controllers on the CPU not supporting those speeds. Or it could have been an issue with the motherboard itself, which is an Asus Prime Pro X470
