 They are really heavy, beautiful crafted metal with a proper heat sink underneath. It's a big difference from cheaper options that often don't have much more than a thin piece of sheet metal. Now in most cases that won't matter much, but these models won't be cheap so it's nice to know for yourself that you're getting a premium quality product. Keep in mind they are quite tall, so do check compatibility if you're going for air-cooling

 When it comes to performance testing of these superfast DDR4 modules, I have to say it feels a bit unnecessary as when it comes to real-world impact, you can barely notice the difference between these and the mainstream speeds, which is now 3000 megahertz. However, it is nice to put them against a ton of other DDR4 kits that we've tested before and see if it performs as expected in our synthetic benchmarks. It is among the fastest modules out there. If you're wondering what the impact is on your actual gaming experience, well, these graphs should clear that up a bit

 Rating to 3200 megahertz will probably be worth the small price increase, but the higher rated models do become expensive fast, with 16 gigabytes of 4800 megahertz dominated costing as much as a 64 gigabyte kit rated at 3600 megahertz. Now, those are some very, very impressive speeds, but the number of scenarios where that will be a reasonable investment is small. That being said, not too long ago even 3200 megahertz memory seemed impossible, so I guess it's cool that Corsair is giving the richest among us a little glimpse into the future when we eventually move on to the DDR5s. TLDR; 50% of my 4 sticks work. My recommendation would be to spend a little more and find a different vendor if you need high clock high density sticks and avoid the 6+ hour headache hardware revision I just dealt with.  Got these because they were on QVL., had a BSOD (GSOD now I guess?) with memory error reference within the first few hours so started digging a bit more

You're buying looks not quality

  I'm using this Ram in conjunction with:  Processor: i7-8700k Gfx card: MSI Ventus Rtx 2080 OC

 With my current cooling configuration my RAM temps never exceed 60°C during gaming, infact they hardly break a sweat running at 56- 57°C under load (keep in mind this is with all 4 RAM slots filled on my mobo).  I'm a sucker for RGB and I'm a sucker for performance, this set of 4x8 sticks gave my system a much needed boost in performance as I no longer have stuttering/framerate issues while streaming games to twitch using shadowplay or OBS. In addition to that, while most games don't typically rely heavily on CPU or RAM speed, I have seen a nice boost of up to 20 frames in games like Battlefield 5 which does benifit from faster ram speeds. I was originally getting 40-50 fps on high/ultra settings with the 2400 MHz set I had, now I'm getting 60-70 fps (high/ultra) without CPU or GPU OCs

 What I love about these sticks is I'm able to Monitor the temperature of each individual stick as well as create a custom light profile/manage lighting effects for each stick using Corsair's iCue lighting software (my favorite effect is stack), customization goes all the way down to choosing each individual zone you want to be lit on each individual RAM stick.  I have my sticks configured by defualt to light up a certain color based on their individual temperatures, it's cool to see how the color reacts to the temperature changes in real time  I've noticed no meaningful impact on the temperatures regardless of whether I have the lights on or off, Capellix LEDs are supposed to run much cooler/efficiently/ and brighter than their typical counterparts, and they certainly seem to be doing a good job of that.  Do I keep the LED RAM, or do I give the radiator full roof access? If this is just the regular standard for non-cheapo RAM, then it's my stupidness for not getting a bigger case. Or figuring out how to do my own water cooling.

Moved on to an AMD x570-based system and doing the usual decided to check Motherboard QVL to ensure compatibility. First kit arrived with one bad memory module - fair enough. Second kit arrived and I sort of expected XMP to not work (double rank high density kit after all), so set off to manually time and test the memory modules

These kits have been designed specifically to maximize compatibility with AMD's Ryzen third-generation CPUs and X570 motherboards. Currently, kits are being offered at speeds ranging from 2666 all the way up to 3800 MHz at a variety of different capacities, latencies, and configurations. The kit that I have here today runs at a speed of 3600 MHz with timings of 16, 19, 19, 39 in a dual 2x 16GB configuration for a total of 32GB

 So having said all that, 3600 MHz is probably the fastest kit of RAM that most people should be looking at if they're interested in maintaining that 1 to 1 ratio. Using this 3600 MHz kit, along with a Ryzen 9 3950X and an Asus ROG Strix X570E gaming motherboard, I have not experienced any issues whatsoever. The performance has been rock solid stable in every game that I have played, and when editing and encoding, 4K video in DaVinci Resolve. The RGB lighting implementation on these modules is actually pretty awesome

 Not that I've ever done that. G.Skill Trident Z Neo memory kits are awesome looking, high speed, high performance, and optimized for Ryzen third generation CPUs and X570, and they're also covered by G.Skill's limited lifetime warranty, which is always nice to know

 But they saw a benefit of actually using four sticks compared to two sticks. So our test system is a Ryzen 2700 CPU on an Asus Prime Pro X470 motherboard. Now, once again, full disclaimer, there were a few issues when we put the Titan Z Neo sticks into the system and we obviously activated the DOCP profiles, which is basically like your Intel XMP profiles pushing it up to the speed that it's rated for 3600 megahertz. So an issue that we came across was when we tried running a game, the system would crash

That's something I guess I'd have to leave up to you, especially if you're planning on running a kit like this on an older system like the Ryzen 2700, which may have issues, I think, with the memory controllers on the CPU not supporting those speeds. Or it could have been an issue with the motherboard itself, which is an Asus Prime Pro X470
