5" (2 in the bracket and 1 behind the odd drive), the other one is a bit more tricky due t o cable management but still ok, you can add easily a 3.5" drive, so you are covered for drives (plus M2 on your board maybe!), in term of heat, I have a full graphic card shapphire rx580 and an i7-9700k processor, I have switch the original 92mm fan from the case with a noctua, gives me PWM and silence, you can fit a cpu cooler up to 145, and so giving up the side fan, I have a 125mm cpu cooler so I could technically fit a slim fan on the side, so far I didn't add any other fan, even with overclock the temps are ok, ~35 idling and ~70 full load. (you can easily add 2 120mm slim at the bottom, 1 120mm at the top, one 80mm in the front). Probably the best case if you are in need for good ventilation

To me this is the perfect size. it's larger than the typical ITX case but smaller than a typical mATX case; basically right in the middle. seems to be standard for an ITX motherboard to have 2 NVME slots so the need for an SSD is more for if you want just extra storage

AESTHETICS. This is one sexy looking case, even the inside layout is very pleasing to the eye as long as you can cable manage correctly (which is one of the biggest issues for mini ITX builds) - Solid Construction, no bendiness. - Light-weight - GPU clearance - Even though I didn't put one in it (built for a friend), it has a good layout for a decent sized GPU

The top fans use a tool less mounting system, which is great and they provide the hardware for mounting two fans, the problem is it's only compatible with standard 25mm thick fans. If you want to use slim fans you have to do some custom work to get them to mount. The steel feels a bit too flimsy. I'd pay more for a more premium version with thicker/sturdier steel, maybe some aluminum, and better quality paint

It is not a fingerprint magnet unlike aluminum cases. Review: Cougar really stuck by their product and actually boxed the case in a full color black box with images of the QBX. This is unlike their normal boxing methods of plain cardboard and an outlined drawing of the case. The overall feel of the case is solid
