Really like the stable low profile with the wide base and the can to the side instead of under the burner. If you’ve ever, after a long hard calorie burning day, tipped over your almost ready dinner because of a high profile profile stove that mounts on top the canister, you’ll appreciate this feature. Also I like the wider burner that helps you avoid burning food to the bottom of the pot. Then add to that the option of upending the canisters so you get full burn in the coldest of weather and you’ve got a full, unmitigated five star stove

Fix is below: "Initially, the hose did not let gas from my 20 lb propane tank reach the burners on my Coleman NXT 200 grill; while a 1 lb disposable canister worked fine. It was puzzling why the canister fit fine but the hose and big tank did not. It was no problem at all. Both pots fit easily, and we fed 8 people off of this one little stove without having to juggle anything! The finish is very nice on this, better than the competitors, and the embossed Coleman Name in the lid is a nice touch. It's an old school enameled green paint, that is very durable, and honestly, quite attractive at least to my eye.

All types have various advantages and disadvantages, and no system is perfect for every backpacking situation, however, if this is the style of stove you are looking for, you would be hard-pressed to do better than the Vega.

While this propane stove does burn very cleanly, it still puts out carbon monoxide, and it still consumes oxygen. This is why I recommend that you run this outside, or inside your garage. The area needs to be well ventilated. If you are out camping, of course, please do not run this inside your tent or RV

If the gas line is bent in a specific direction, it almost tips over when removing the pan. Just be aware and make sure it is on the most flat surface you can find in the outdoors and you will be fine.
