You know Coleman has been  making coolers for a long time and I have owned quite a few.  I bought this cooler because it advertised on it that it keeps ice cold for five days and that is not true. Two days at the most and that's not cool cause every time I use it I have to purchase 20lb of ice a day.  I don't travel with enough beverages and/or food items to make this practical. Because of its size, I couldn't open the lid and have it stay open inside the rear hatchback area of my 2014 Subaru Outback without pulling it forward closer to the bumper to clear the door opening. Also, when I did fill it full of my drinks and lots of free hotel ice, the height made it seem unwieldly, like its center or gravity was off while trying to wheel it through hotel corridors. The biggest "dumb" thing (to me) is how the drain plug opens DOWN, instead of lifting up

 Originally we started with just the Roadie 24 thinking it would be good enough but Yeti coolers lose a lot of internal space to how much insulation they have. Once we added the 65 to the arsenal that solved all of our problems.

So I want to start using a cooler to shop with and I'm looking at the roadie 24, since I'd only use it for meat and milk and it wouldn't take up too much trunk soace My question is, how many half gallons of milk could a yeti 24 hold? And then could you pack the meat on top still?

I like the height of the 24 vs the width of other coolers, but I need to figure out if wide would fit my needs better. I have a small trunk...

Cooler - Yeti or something else?

I may never use the RTIC soft cooler again because the R24 is so good and easy to move around.

This is probably the most biased thread to post but here we are - husband and I are getting more into camping. We’re looking into Yeti Cooler 35. Seems solid, great features, durable, cherry on top; cool colors. 

But, as title states, is it really worth it? 

We’re more than fine putting out this type of money for a quality cooler, something that will withstand the test of time. As long as it will withstand the test of time. 

Also how easy is it to deal with replacement things under warranty? I hate having to jump through hoops just to get a piece replaced.
