However, I really prefer to use stainless whenever possible, because I worry about the chemicals in plastic, but most of the air fryers do tend to be made with non-stick materials

  I  did some research on whether or not air frying was "healthy". Fried foods produce a chemical called acrylamide, which causes cancer.  Air frying reduces this chemical by about 90%! That's a big improvement!! So not only does it reduce the calories from using less oil, it also reduces the cancer causing chemical we get from frying!

 We're a family of four and this is the perfect size to cook what is needed and even if it weren't for some things then I'll just cook in batches. The shake option is pretty cool especially when cooking chicken wings. It beeps when ready which is a great feature when you don't have time to keep an eye on it. Great product! Worth the investment in my opinion

 Like I said, however, I love how it's healthier so I'll survive. Another bonus is that you don't have to worry about oil splatter since the air fryer uses air and is enclosed while cooking anyway. I like this one, it’s just not big enough for what I want to do. I can’t cook a full size pizza. Easy controls, easy to set. I like my inner light to stay on but this one shuts off after a minute or so

Good for small family

 I just received a replacement basket from Chefman as it is under the one year warranty. I recommend buying the $7.99 3 year extended warranty! I keep mine set at 400 and cook everything that way. Just reduce times if you feel it should be cooked at a lower temperature

Easy, healthy, and quick!!! It took me a few times of burning everything in the beginning. Don’t go by the times recommended on the top, it’s at least 4 minutes less typically I’ve found. These tots said 450 for 25-28 minutes in the oven. Took me 15 on 400 with this bad boy

 At the sound of the ding, the chicken wings were definitely not done. They were not brown, they were not crisp. We gave them another 24 minutes at 390 degrees, and YUMMY! Next time, we will fiddle with the time to see if something less than 48 minutes (24x2) would be long enough.  The temperature scale is difficult to use. The old 2qt unit was great, this one is disappointing. Too bad the knobs and scale fell off the old one.

Poor controls and small basket

 I struggle with trying to get it to crisp anything up. The temperatures are pre-set, which I was aware of. What Air Fryer charts say take 20 minutes have taken up to 40 minutes to cook in this appliance. I've tried burgers, french fries, egg rolls, veggies, and countless other items that should cook in a relatively short time

I don't think it's really an air fryer

Bought this for my mother for Xmas. It says it’s to cook a meal for 2 but it’s very small so you’d be lucky to cook for 1 person.
