I am sure this grill will do fine with burgers and steaks, but I will be looking into ways to seal this grill better before I try another brisket

I already have one of those big 300lb beasts of a kamado cooker and wanted something easier to fire up and clean for a quick 2 person dinner or a few burgers and this seems to fit the bill. There are similar all ceramic mini-eggs out there, but they are pricey with smaller cooking surfaces and super heavy. I use a chimney and I can't seem to start a fire without dropping a hot coal on the wooden shelves. The grills are cast iron, not a big deal for me, but they said that fires over 400 degrees will burn off the seasoning. I always grill pretty hot The neutral: The wheels seem very cheap but I'll call that a push b/c they also seem functional. This little red Kamado grill is down right awesome so far! I've had it 2 weeks & cooked a pork loin & meat loaf & both were juicy melt in yo mouth delicious !! Very easy to control temp. Holds set temp. Great & cooks like an oven. I'll never go back to a regular charcoal grill!!!

We bought our 1st in a store and had absolutely no problems like we had with this one. Frankly, I think they’re not packaging this larger grill correctly, especially for longer-haul shipment. It clearly needs more protection in the shipping box. I passed these concerns along to Char-Griller, so I hope this will be resolved going forward
