 Now I'm going to stick with CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser, which needs to be applied on wet skin. The first step that I'm going to do is now wetting my face and neck with lukewarm water to warm water, and then I'm going to apply the cleanser onto the skin. So let's go ahead and do this. Then use about one to two pumps, about a coin size amount of your cleanser in the palm of your hand

 So if you have normal skin, you can use about a pea-sized amount, and even apply a thin layer all over your face and neck. However, if you have a drier skin type, then you probably need to use a bit more of it, so that you have an even thicker layer all over, so that it feels comfortable on the skin, it gives you a relief, and yet moisturizes the skin well throughout the day, or throughout your night, depending on when using it. And so it has a pump, so you can adjust the amount accordingly to it. And so let's say you have a normal skin type, then you want to use again about a pea-sized amount, more or less, so that you have an even thin layer all over, but again, if you have a drier skin type, then don't hesitate and use a bit more of it, like that you can adjust the amount of it, since with the pump you are able to properly adjust it, and then use it between your fingers, and even apply it all over

 In this example, I'm going to stick to CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser, which is great for normal to dry skin. This is just an example. If you have a different one at home, go ahead and stick to it. Just make sure that it's able to remove any impurities, but at the same time won't irritate the skin and nor dries out the skin, which is important to keep in mind

 However, if you're wearing sunscreen and or makeup for the day and it's a bit more stubborn to remove, please make sure to either use at first micellar water and then move on to your daily cleanser or look into a balm or oil cleanser that's able to break down your makeup and sunscreen in one go to make sure that you will apply the moisturizing lotion on clean skin. So again, morning and evening, washing your face at first and then applying the cream to the skin is important. And so this is now what I'm going to show you on my face so that you can see it visually when trying to start at home. So again, we're going to get started with the first step, which is washing your face with a suitable cleanser for your skin type and needs

 It has also no smell so it's fragrance-free the only thing that's a bit like not really annoying but just because it has no smell it smells a bit like clinical so like very very sterile and I don't know it's not like a smell that I personally enjoy but nothing against the product itself because it's fragrance-free it's just like that I personally prefer a fragrance rather than nothing but when it comes to the application how it spreads out it just is so easy to spread out even though it's like a thicker cream it soaks into the skin directly which I do enjoy but for me personally which like didn't work out for me is when I'm using it as a moisturizer before I'm going to apply my makeup. Could be because of my makeup products could also be because of the cream I'm not sure I'm also not a hundred percent sure about that but the way I would use that moisturizer is basically using it on its own when I'm not wearing any makeup and just let it soak into my skin because I know for sure that for example when I'm using my favorite moisturizer which is the Nivea one and also the Velida Skin Food one if you want to go natural then these two are still my favorites which I would put just in front of the ordinary just because I can use these creams in several like different ways also comparing it like not comparing but combining it with my makeup application and it's not like a separate product that I need to use if I don't want to wear makeup. So it's just because as I already said in previous videos I'm kind of lazy when it comes to my makeup and skincare products it just should work everything well together. So does this one moisturize yes it moisturizes my face it soaks in directly this is all like positive about the product it's just that this doesn't really can compete with my Nivea or Velida cream so I definitely wouldn't use this one in first place either if I would run out of any other products and then go back to this one but that's mainly just how I feel about the product

Now this is what I wanted to share with you guys when it's about the ordinary moisturizing cream I hope I could help you out I also hope I could give you an opinion about how you should feel about the product and as I said it can't compete with Nivea or Vila cream I just stick to those and then just go with my third option which would be the ordinary cream

I need help on where to start for someone on a very TIGHT budget so I need things on the cheap side of things (but safe) I'm very paranoid about what these chemicals could do to you. Please help me in listing a very simple dumb down version of what I should be doing, when, and with what and exactly what products to buy so I can go to my local Walmart and find them. Newbie with a very tight BUDGET but need cheap products from Walmart, Krogers and CVS

What I went with was:. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - for its moisture-retaining effects as I work in windy conditions and get fine wrinkles by the end of each day.

 The texture of this cream is nice but I have to reapply several times throughout the day which I never had to do with Honest brand. So this isn't really saving me any money because I have to use double the product.

Affordable but disappointing

 For the price it’s not worth it. In Sephora the Full size is 10.50 while the Mini Size is 5.80
