While the external color of the pens have all been blue, EVERY one of them has arrived with black ink cartridges. For my high school career, I had a decent pilot ball point pen that was my go to for journaling and research papers and what not. But when it finally but the dust, I couldn't find them in the store anymore. 
Since then, I've come to enjoy a nice zebra ball point, but I want something nicer. 
I don't really do calligraphy or cursive writing, so I'm not sure if a fountain tip is right for me, but what experience do you guys have with writing in print with a fountain tip?

Are there any ball points out there that make writing feel good? 

PS: I'm on a budget, anything under $20-$30 would be ideal.

Need help identifying what style of refills my pen uses

I bought this pen for ergonomics. It meets the claims of being comfortable with perfectly distributed weight, but I do wish it had a bit more of it. As a personal preference, I like a bit of heft.  The tip glides smoothly and writes well at an angle to about 45 degrees, which is what one can expect from a ballpoint pen
