It is now replaced by OfficeJet Pro 7740 I believe?. It's cartridge based so if you're not going to use it often, purchase a couple of extra heads as it will dry out.

OEM Black cartridges (XL or regular) very expensive ($30 per) and not available anywhere on the planet at any price at the moment—even direct from Canon. For now, I have a doorstop/scanner. Won't make the Canon mistake again. Update

I run an ebay business, and I love my LP 2844 thermal printer. Its old as hell, but I bought it used for like $40, I can get free labels from UPS and it's printed several thousand labels for me while needing no maintenance or extra costs such as ink, toner, or paper. Now compare that to my roommates HP OfficeJet 8020, which constantly seems like it has something wrong with it and needs costly new ink, you see why I'm wondering if there are full size thermal printers. If there aren't or they aren't a realistic solution, what is my cheapest option as far as initial costs and upkeep? I'm moving into a new place by myself soon so I need something full size

.it does print well and quicker than my old printer. at least there's something positive to be said about it

I am using a USB port to print WIFI DID NOT WORK Junk. Very unhappy. Wifi is constantly not connecting, so I eventually connected it with a cord - still not working consistently. I tried to be patient with it, and unfortunately, I hit my limit just outside the return window
