While its retail cost is a bit on the pricey side, it's well worth it if you can spend more upfront to save money later. It has four refillable tanks, and it comes with two extra black bottles along with the typical four black and color bottles that come with most printers. It means you don't have to worry about black ink for a long time after the initial buy.

This model is a lot better than the others on this list in photo quality. Its images are more detailed, and there's much less graininess and banding. Its color accuracy is decent, and while some colors are a little off from their originals, your pictures will still look nice and natural. It takes less than a minute to print a 4&quot; x 6&quot; photo, and it accepts many other paper sizes and weights.

Unfortunately, it has a tiny, two-line display screen, similar to most scientific calculators. If the message or menu title is long, you have to wait for it to scroll, which is annoying when other models have much larger, touchscreen displays.  All of these printers should be recalled for a firmware update because they are shipped their Wifi is simultaneously a security risk and completely broken. I was looking forward to this buy (PIXMA G7020). My previous printer lasted beyond its shelf life, but the print cartridges cost sometimes more than just buying a new printer. I decided on this printer, it was recently released into operation and after filtering through the reviews on the correct printer (it seems like all Canon printers reviews are listed, not only for this model) that it should be fairly good. I did receive the replacement printer. It took slightly longer, but it did arrive, so here is the update review.  I was able to set the replacement printer up as with the first one and connect to my laptop and phone just fine. This time I had no problems printing with it

The Canon PIXMA G6020 is a very printer and it is replacing a cartridge-based HP printer for which I have not been able to buy ink cartridges for several months now. The amount of ink that is in the “Supertank” ink reservoirs is impressive and I have read that it contains about the same amount of ink as 84 ink cartridges! Even if it is a small fraction of that, the economics of buying a big bottle of ink for $12 vs paying twice that much or more for a much lower capacity ink cartridge is obvious. In fact, just two complete ink cartridge replacements on my previous HP printer would pay for this new Canon printer and all the ink that came with it (one of each color and three bottles of black)! I am so glad to get out of the paying big $ for ink cartridges, assuming you can even get them.  Print quality seems fine, but it is a bit slower than the HP I am replacing

  The simple way is to set your paper size to the Letter - 8-1/2 x 11 size at the top of that short list. Then you can work with any size actual paper that will fit within the margins. For my project I used 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 bifold card stock but told the printer it was 8-1/2 x 11. The printer ran it on through without a hitch

  Its print speed isn't as sprightly as the competition, but I wanted a workhorse, not a racehorse.  The entry-level price for ink tank printers has crept upward with the switch to "work from home" so I did a lot of research before plunking down my $$. If your needs are anything like mine, you'll find this a worthwhile investment and probably wish you'd gotten one sooner.  UPDATE AND NOTE ON BORDERLESS PRINTING:  It's only a partial implementation because they really don't want you using this on anything but photo paper
