The default Picture Control does shift the hues a bit and increases contrast till it clips a little more than I like, but the neutral style delivers more-accurate colors without looking flat.Video looks good, without many of the edge artifacts I expected to see and decent resolvability for 1080p, but with the typical blown-out highlights and crushed blacks (on default settings) that you find with this class of camera. The bigger problem for shooting video is the lack of aperture control -- you can control shutter speed and ISO sensitivity only. For well over half the cost of brand new D7200, I was able to get a D7100 with a low number of clicks/actuations which is fantastic. In the past, I would have stayed clear of a gray market camera because of warranty / repair issues, but Nikon repair centers will now service some gray market cameras. I actually have two authorized Nikon repair centers in my area and both will service and repair the D7100, so at the end of the day, I got a great camera for a Great Price, and I know I can have it repaired if needed.

Weight is similarly svelte, below every 5D and the 7D, and about even with the 60D. The larger cameras will balance a bit better with heavy lenses; this 6D will be the preferable travel body by a small margin. New relative to the 5D II are improved weather sealing and a much-appreciated mode dial lock. It's not clear how comprehensive the sealing is; I still wouldn't take it in the rain, and very few non-L Canon lenses are weatherproof
