I bought this camera to replace my Canon Rebel T2i that was water damaged irreparably. When choosing this model, I preferred the options of the T6 over the more expensive T6i. For example, I do not need stabilization because any lenses I have which may require it (mainly telephoto) incorporate that feature. In Live View mode it's pretty good in my "studio" but I can't comment on contrast and visibility outdoors. However, it is clear, seems to have a fine resolution and does the job. However, it isn't articulated like some people prefer so that may be a deal-breaker for you. For me, not so much

All of Fujifilm’s signature film simulations are included, and it’s a lot of fun testing them and seeing what works best for a given shooting scenario, whether you’re looking for more vivid colors, moody black and white shots, or something with softer tones. The company recently launched a redesigned mobile app for iOS (it’ll come to Android this summer), but I’ll just say that there’s still room for improvement in terms of speed and eliminating unnecessary steps. The Wi-Fi connection between phone and camera is stable, and sending photos over to your phone for a quick Instagram post is a great option to have

Not great for beginners and not really any better than my iPhone. My interest is using it in full auto mode. My issues: • The autofocus doesn't work well half the time. • The flash is terrible - to me if you can tell a flash was used it's not natural and looks bad

The autofocus system is essentially the same as the X-T3—the X-T30 actually offers some enhancements, which are coming to the X-T3 via a firmware update. In practice, it performs quite well. It locks focus quickly, supports eye and face detection for human subjects, and can track moving targets with ease.
