 Alright so real quick as we open this, the first thing we find are the instruction manual in here, we'll also pull out the actual stove top here, set that down. We have the legs here in this bag, we'll get this all assembled and we have the guard that goes around the outside. Now if you can see this flanged end hooks on all four for each of the legs and you have this little wing nut here to tighten. Now the heat shield when it goes on, you can see it has these little brackets that just go over the metal on the outside

 Hey friends, it's Fuller Farm and we're going to do an unboxing and review of the Explorer by Camp Chef. This is a two burner stove you can use for camping or for cooking and we got this one at Cabela's on sale for $75 so we're going to get this unboxed and take a look at it.  There's all sorts of attachments from a grill on the top to you can also have a griddle or if you're doing steaks you could be cooking on that as well so if you haven't tried them out there, great, highly recommend it, it's what we use at Fuller Farm. Here comes some steam, starting to get some bubbles on the very bottom, it's getting closer and there's our rolling boil, so that took about 7 minutes to go to a full boil, it was uncovered, it's 40 degrees outside, had it on high, half a gallon of water, not bad. Just for fun we're going to take this boiling pot of water and pour it on this leftover patch of snow, which is about the last of the snow from the storm, see how it reacts.  Now we've already used this cooker for about a week in Ohio Pile State Park, cooked all of our meals on this, it was really great, did well, performed well. Great thing about these is you can also use them if you're canning, if you want to cook outside it's always good when you're canning to cook on gas, it's much more efficient when you're canning. Great buy, especially for $75, can't go wrong with that. Whether for camping or for a survival situation, highly recommend the Camp Chef line, I know they get even more expensive than this basic Explorer model

Camp Chef Explorer Unboxing and Review

 So we're going to go ahead and assemble this and get it together. Okay so the legs went on extremely easy, I'm going to show you guys how to put on this windscreen here, so you'll just lock the two sides here first and then you'll want to grab it from the back and again it's just got the tabs right here, they just slide right into place and that's it. Very easy install on the windscreen. So overall it just took about one minute to assemble and put together, which really isn't too bad

 Alright so we've been heating up for just a few minutes here and we're ready to go now. So since we've got our grill box and our griddle here we're able to do a couple of different things. So we're going to go ahead and throw some sausages on the grill over here and over here on the griddle we're going to go ahead and throw a couple burgers on and we're also going to do a couple pieces of bacon, we're going to do bacon cheeseburgers. Alrighty so we're going to let that go for a few minutes and we'll be back to check and see how it's doing

 Make sure it's nice and tight and you'll just go ahead and open your propane tank and we are ready to start cooking. Okay so Camp Chef offers a number of different accessories that you can purchase for their stoves. Those including a barbecue grill box, cookware, flat top griddles, and an artisan pizza oven. So what we have here today is the barbecue grill box

 It looks like the bacon is just about done here so we're going to move that off to the side and it looks like our burgers only have a few minutes left so we're going to get some cheese on these and we'll top it with that bacon and we should be good to go. Alright guys so here is our final product and it turned out fantastic. Couple of things I wanted to point out to you guys, I did notice a little bit of wobble in the stove while cooking on it, however if you pick up the leg levelers that Camp Chef offers we'll take care of that issue. Other than that the grill did outstanding, it gets four and a half out of five stars

Camp Chef Explorer 14" portable stove - Best outdoor stove review

  The stove itself looks to me to be built like a main battle Tank. Just love the design. Put the stove together and the heat output was amazing.  The thumb screws that hold the legs in place are a joke with what looks like cheap plastic turn handles

  I am a dutch oven fanatic. Recently went to a Cee Dub dutch oven clinic. Cee Dub uses this type of stove in his clinics and although well used I was impressed with the heat output of his stove. One reason Dutch Oven folks love this style stove is the open bottom lets the chef put a charcoal chimney full of charcoal on a burner and it heats up the charcoal and the resulting dirt falls through

 I opened up every thing and stove lit right off the bat. Amazing.  The stove itself looks to me to be built like a main battle Tank. Just love the design

  My take is I am gonna love this stove cooking on the deck or out of my pickup truck. Do not think it will be used on a raft trip due to size and weight, but I wish I could take it to group cook big pot meals and gallons of coffee each morning.  I ordered the carry bag as well. This bag is a bit better quality than the inside bag but looking at the cloth I would be surprised if it lasts for multiple trips

I am a long time outdoor cook person. Started out with the old Coleman two burners. Long as they were made in USA these were the bomber outdoor stoves and I still have one. Soon as they shifted manufacturing to China quality went to dismal and I stopped using them

 They do have a one burner griddle just for 10, I want the big one. We've used it this week, cooking pork chops, going fish. We have loved it. We cooked our hamburgers on it last night, and so we're going to do a big breakfast on it this morning

 It's really working out well. If you saw in some of our last videos, we had a small tabletop Colvin griddle that we've had for years. We actually got that from Brittany's grandfather. And we've been using it for quite a while

 The griddles in the grill world are getting big, and we started talking about one. This is one we can easily pack up. The legs come loose, you can set it on tabletop, use it just that way, or you can put the legs on it. They do come with it

 We're going to put this thing to real work. We haven't loaded it up yet, so we're going to see how good it does. We wanted this one because we could take the griddle off and have the burners for camping so we could use our skillet or we could put our fry pot on it and fry fish. I've got my big pot, I can do a low country boil on this thing

 The stove will either resume "Blow Torch" heating or have the flame extinguish after letting go for the gas control knob - extremely frustrating.  I am aware of the cost incentives to outsource manufacturing of your products, unfortunately, the Coleman name at this point is not worth Cow Dung. It is so sad that you would brand the Coleman name on such a piece of Chinese Junk. Fundamentally, Coleman has digressed from a reputable high quality manufacturer of usable goods to a low grade importer - sad indeed

 Still touchy on low heat settings but quite usable. I would give Coleman's customer service and warranty process 5+ Stars, the camp stove a 3 Star Rating.  ORIGINAL REVIEW: I started purchase of Coleman products in 1981, I was always delighted with the functionality, quality, and value of the products (2 burner White Gas camp stove & Lantern). They functioned as one would expect, maybe not the easiest to clean after a "boil over" but worked great delivering both high and very low heat as required

Great Customer Service, OK product

 You don't necessarily have to get Coleman brand. There's a lot of different ones that have Universal adapters on the top that work just fine. The next best feature about this product is you can actually buy an adapter to run a 20 gallon propane tank. So if your RV camping or if you don't want to run out of fuel or if you have more space, you can always go with that option

 Now the main thing to remember about this product is you're definitely getting what you pay for. but what you're getting is a lot of value for the price that you're pay. In my opinion, the Coleman Classic stove is a must have. Teeny - no frills, easy to use, easy to move, great stove

 So another good feature about this is the burner and the grate is pretty close. I Have a medium-size pan on here right now and this is kind of a small pot. Coleman Advertises that it can fit a 12 inch and a 10-inch pan side-by-side In my experience, that's kind of pushing the limits of what this thing can do. You can adjust these side wind guards so you can fit a little bit bigger pots

 Another great feature is that this is pretty compact. It will snap down when not in use and it folds up. So the dimensions that they have advertised are 4.1 inches by 21 point nine inches by thirteen point seven inches

Coleman Classic Propane Stove Review Pros and Cons

The Coleman Classic Propane is the current front runner. It seems a pretty straight forward no frills stove at an affordable price.

 Uh, it's actually very slim if you're trying to save, uh, space. I do use the portable propane tanks, the little mini ones like here. um and it doesn't have the instant start so you do have to use a match or a lighter to actually get the the burners to start up. But overall here we are cooking some rice, some tortillas
