 While waiting for it I bought the Raft and Sportster. Then purchased the Maestro board during a blem sale and used my R1 trucks from the Sportster since I upgraded them.

 Bearings I have here are ABEC 5 Rush bearings, they're actually just the bearings I had on my old skateboard. I've just been riding these for, I don't know, three months now, and yeah, they're decent bearings, I'll probably invest in some more Bones Reds or maybe Super Reds soon, I just haven't gotten around to it. Oh yeah, with the deck, the Maestro, it has more camber in the front than in the back, so what that does to you, I don't know if you can see it here, but it does kind of come up here, you can see that, and then it kind of slows down here and kind of levels off. And what that does for you is it's so easy to push, like it's almost effortless when you're pushing the board around

Probably the best board for commuting that I've ridden, you know, if you're a college student, gotta get to classes, you know, I'm going there next year, so I'm definitely bringing this board to college with me, yeah, that's about it. I got two kicktails raised up here, it really opens up worlds of free riding, switch foot tricks, riding switch it's fine, it holds up really well under really heavy tricks like anywhere from shove-its to slap shove-its to big spins, spin bigs, really any trick you throw at this board, it's going to handle it pretty darn well

 But that's no reason not to buy the board, it'll last you a really long time. Mine's basically still in perfect condition and I can't tell you how hard I've been riding this thing.  Starting off, it comes in at 38 inches long, has a width of 9 inches, and a wheelbase of 26.5 inches. It's made with maple and fiberglass, what that does is make this board super strong but super flexy at the same time, with drop through as well as angled mounting points. This board sets you very low to the ground, making it very easy to push and cruise around on

 Flex 2 which is good for about 100 pounds up to about 185 and finally Flex 1 which is from 170 up to about 250 pounds. Now we suggest you kind of stick right down the middle if you want a good balance for everything. However if you want to go for a little bit more stable ride move up a flex. We don't usually recommend going down a flex because that can end up being way too flexy especially over time as you ride the sport it's going to develop a little bit more flex

This one is a cool update to the previous Loaded Dervish and adds us some nice features that not only expand its riding style but increase its performance. Now some specs on this one, the deck is clocking in at about 43 inches long, this is a pretty good sized longboard, definitely that middle to long range. One of the improvements they made is they've added some width to the deck moving up to a 9 inches wide

Now it's only a half inch wide improvement, however it does add some control in there and that's one keyword that was going to keep coming up with this board is added control. The wider deck will give you a little bit more foot space on there and some increased traction

 Now in the longboard world and especially compared to some of the freeride decks out there, this isn't a super aggressive concave but it's a little bit more than the old Dervish which definitely locks your foot in a little bit more, more control and especially as you rock through harder turns and slides, you'll definitely feel like your feet are not going to be slipping off. With that wider deck and the increased concave, on the edges your foot does not feel like it's slipping and also it eases out especially in slide initiation where you're really trying to grab that deck and really trying to put some force behind it so it definitely gives you a little bit more lock in there. Now moving on to the nose and tail, one of the big improvements to this one is they've added in little nose and tail kicks. They're not super huge, it is just a little extension and a little upturn but it'll definitely help out for some freestyle maneuvers and definitely increase the performance of the deck

 Now if you're going more for a carvy, cruisy style that's more of a surf feel you want to go toward a softer range of that flex. That way when you go through turns you can load that flex up and kind of spring out for a nice lively feel. In contrast if you're going for more of a slide style, some hills or even landing bigger harder tricks you might want to go for a little stiffer flex so it's not going to bottom out and it feels a little bit more stable. Now the three flexes we've got Flex 3 that's suggested from 75 pounds up to 150 pounds

In 2007, the Dervish was the first venture into dropthrough construction and an opportunity to create a flexy, bamboo composite carver with the versatility to handle a variety of riding styles. Five years later, they revisited this flagship board with new performance aspirations in mind. 

With a slightly wider platform than its predecessor, the Dervish Sama balances comfort, edge control, and responsiveness. Combined with a more pronounced concave profile, the extra width enhances turn initiation and slide control. Loaded added subtle nose and tail kicks to increase pop and lock your feet in for freestyle tricks. The neck and dropthrough cutout were also updated for increased durability under hard riding. A six-piece griptape pattern provides enhanced control at the kicks and facilitates comfortable footwork maneuvers on the standing platform without interfering with the board's flex pattern.
