 Now this board is offered from Lonezo, kind of an all-around great board for a lot of

 Flex one for those riders who are about 170 to 230 pounds and flex two for those guys

 Once you customize that flex, get the right amount of bounce in your ride, that way you've

 It's got a pretty easy concave through here, so it's pretty comfortable to ride while still

 It keeps a good width, but it's never, never really too much to feel like you've got a

The Loaded Dervish Sama | Loaded Board Breakdown

 Hey, so you're looking for a new board huh?

 This board is perfect for light free riding, a little bit of dancing, some light freestyle,

 carving of course, commuting, and it's perfect for the taller people.

 In case you haven't noticed yet, this board is drop through.

 Well there's this hole right here so you can stick a truck through it.

 That way you ride lower to the ground, you have a lower center of gravity making this

 board a little bit more stable and it gives it a very unique and graceful turn.

 The Dervish Sama is perfectly symmetrical.

 It's the same, no matter which direction you ride it.

 It's got large wheel well cutouts right here to help reduce the chance of wheel bites.

 This board has a wide standing platform that is pretty uniform, giving you ample space

 To help work with the flex of the board, the Dervish Sama has camber.

 Camber is where it bows up like this, which is really cool because when you're flexing

 the board down, it brings you back up, giving it a very lively and very energetic feel.

 The Dervish Sama also has concaves to keep your feet locked in when you're doing some

 free riding and give you plenty of leverage over your truck.

 But it's mellow enough so it doesn't get uncomfortable when you're cruising around

 These help add a little bit of variety to your riding and allow freestyle to be totally

 It's a little bit thicker, a little bit heavier, but it's meant for the heavier kind of riders.

 There's also a flex two, which is great for people about my weight.

 The Dervish Sama is made with a vertically laminated bamboo core sandwiched in between

 Flex 2 which is good for about 100 pounds up to about 185 and finally Flex 1 which is from 170 up to about 250 pounds. Now we suggest you kind of stick right down the middle if you want a good balance for everything. However if you want to go for a little bit more stable ride move up a flex. We don't usually recommend going down a flex because that can end up being way too flexy especially over time as you ride the sport it's going to develop a little bit more flex

com and we are checking out the Loaded Dervish Sama. This one is a cool update to the previous Loaded Dervish and adds us some nice features that not only expand its riding style but increase its performance. Now some specs on this one, the deck is clocking in at about 43 inches long, this is a pretty good sized longboard, definitely that middle to long range. One of the improvements they made is they've added some width to the deck moving up to a 9 inches wide

In 2007, the Dervish was the first venture into dropthrough construction and an opportunity to create a flexy, bamboo composite carver with the versatility to handle a variety of riding styles. Five years later, they revisited this flagship board with new performance aspirations in mind. 

With a slightly wider platform than its predecessor, the Dervish Sama balances comfort, edge control, and responsiveness. Combined with a more pronounced concave profile, the extra width enhances turn initiation and slide control. Loaded added subtle nose and tail kicks to increase pop and lock your feet in for freestyle tricks. The neck and dropthrough cutout were also updated for increased durability under hard riding. A six-piece griptape pattern provides enhanced control at the kicks and facilitates comfortable footwork maneuvers on the standing platform without interfering with the board's flex pattern.
