Burton Cartel vs Union Force Bindings

I was riding the burton cartels for a few years and switched to the union force binding a couple years ago. Both were great for all mountain. Switched to the force because I was slowing down in the park and mostly looking for something responsive in the back country but still gives me freedom in the park when I want.

I've broken some straps, but the ladders and buckles still operate like day one: butter. The bindings themselves are getting a bit shaggy but still ride very well. I'm convinced that the Cartel is the most dialed in binding in the industry. Really smooth mid-stiff flex, plenty of mobility from the relatively flexible highback, fairly responsive heel-to-toe, great feedback from the re:flex base plates, and probably the best buckles in the industry

They are stiff enough to get lots out of the board, give plenty of support, but mostly I like they way the straps fit, and I have never needed to replace or repair anything after the first setup.
