Burton Cartel vs Union Falcor

Had my eyes set on the Union Falcor bindings because it fits my riding style quite nicely: really liked the stiffness and responsiveness that I was reading about because I ride a lot of trees and such and don't like the delay before movements. I also really liked how the mini disk provided a bit of cushion until like the other freeride bindings I've seen.

I've broken some straps, but the ladders and buckles still operate like day one: butter. The bindings themselves are getting a bit shaggy but still ride very well. I'm convinced that the Cartel is the most dialed in binding in the industry. Really smooth mid-stiff flex, plenty of mobility from the relatively flexible highback, fairly responsive heel-to-toe, great feedback from the re:flex base plates, and probably the best buckles in the industry

Taking a look at the ankle strap it features the Forma ankle strap, just a really light cushiony ankle strap, not a whole lot going on with it, it's p...

They are stiff enough to get lots out of the board, give plenty of support, but mostly I like they way the straps fit, and I have never needed to replace or repair anything after the first setup.
