I've broken some straps, but the ladders and buckles still operate like day one: butter. The bindings themselves are getting a bit shaggy but still ride very well. I'm convinced that the Cartel is the most dialed in binding in the industry. Really smooth mid-stiff flex, plenty of mobility from the relatively flexible highback, fairly responsive heel-to-toe, great feedback from the re:flex base plates, and probably the best buckles in the industry

I'll leave the GTs on my rock board, but I really think the NX2 are worth it. Performance wise, the flows are nice because you can leave them loose on days when you're just cruising around with the kids and it's super easy to slip in and out. Or you can crank down the ratchets if you're going to be bombing steeps with the buds.
