Great knife; a pocket-sized (and weighted) 110

 1) small in size as mentioned above ( but still large enough for reasonable use) 2) light weight 3) very slim profile 4) not "tactical" looking 5) US made This turns out to be harder than one might imagine. Knives tend to be too large, or too military looking for polite use, or most dreadfully made "offshore". Enter the "55". I have long been a fan of buck knives and have a deep respect for the fact that they manage to produce a high quality product in the US while keeping their prices very reasonable

 The good news is that the knife arrived and fits my parameters perfectly; it is small, light, handsome with brass bolsters and polished rose wood scales, but alas the blade was completely dull. I am not a stickler for the sharpness of a knife when it arrives, as I have high standards for sharpness and also understand that you need to be willing to work with a blade over its life. However the 55 that I receive appeared unfinished, the blade seems to have received the the first shaping grind, but none of the subsequent polishing or sharpening grinds, I had to work for 20 minutes on a grinding stone to get the primary bevel in place and another 10 minutes of work before it would cut paper. Once that happened the knife was perfect, I was just a bit surprised and disappointed that this one snuck out the door of the buck factory essentially as an unfinished item

 Like it's big brother, the 55 is superb workmanship, and incredibly sharp. It's very lightweight, but also striking in simplicity and beauty. I find myself not wanting to have this in my pocket everyday, but on occasion, so as not to age it too quickly, but then again, at only around $30, it's easily replaced. I can't say this any more positively than this: If you need a single blade, locking pocket knife, sharp enough to skin deer or whatever, buy this knife! You will love it!

 There were two ways that you can do it some folks, especially with longer fingers than I have, can kind of reach around front with their index finger and pull it out like that from me, I prefer it to kind of you treat it a little bit like A lighter it's hard to do this under a camera on a table here, but basically you put your thumb right here and then you use your thumb and you press this direction and it pops the knife out in that direction and then kind of goes out. This way - and so you can get to a point where this is very easy process - you pull the knife out. You position it in a certain way, and especially with this clip being positioned as it is, lunnqvist is really thinking here. It'S easy to grab it's easy to go and then the blade is open um and you can also, by the way, do this in a two-handed way

 It wasn't like. The Feist 2 is something like that. So you couldn't go online to a retailer and make sure you were getting one of the good ones and so unfortunately, a number of my reviewers in the time after that was recalled and when they said oh no, no more of them were in shops. People were still getting bad ones that was really really ugly and honestly kinda, although they still made it right for the people who got a bad one, you could still send it in and really put me off the brand for a little while that was, I don't Feel like that was handled that well, and so I kind of didn't care for that, but nevertheless they have now finally got about released a different version

 Generally. I, like a lot of it, I'm next thing size, comparison um. This is not a huge knife, particularly you can see here that deities down here right here. You know all of that water under the frickin bridge, at least for the conclusion here, as I think the knife here is substantially a great idea, because I think smaller production front-flip is absolutely need to be a thing that the sheer number of the people - anticipating this Guy Vichy, a number of requests and desires for the original version of the Feist showed exactly that. I think they tied the original release just perfectly and had they just nailed it, it would have been a huge massive freakin hit and I think so it's a good idea to start with, and I think the second version actually fixes a number of the issues of The first one I'm adding the little bit of design and uniqueness
