All in all, for being a home juicer, it's the best I've found or used and I highly recommend it. Some people were bewildered by the comments that it was dishwasher safe, then it stated it wasn't. I wouldn't want to place it in a dishwasher, much simpler to rinse, get out all the pulp, dry and store for the next time. I doubt you can go wrong on this fine juicer!

The unit comes with a very nice cleaning brush, but neither this brush, nor any tool I've found can get into that lip to get the crud that is accumulating out of there. I've tried a toothpick, a piece of paper, shooting water up in there, soaking..

Spillage is always going to be a small problem. CLEANING is the best Improvement. Parts clean up NICELY ! And I like that the juicer has a WIDER RIMMED BOWL which prevents overspill of pulp. But I will probably be buying used spare parts from you know what "other" website

Basically I wanted something quality, quick, easy-to-clean, not horribly expensive, and didn't produce a ton of foam. I know centrifugal juicers are pretty much entry level juicers, but I don't really juice enough to justify spending so much money on the masticating juicers.
