 It turns out that the motor has an overheat cutout that shuts down. After unplugging and waiting and hour, it works again. None of this obviates the need for a stronger motor. And my first juicer failed completely

 I'd also ask for a way to attach the receiving container so it can't slip away. I'd ask for it somehow to take up less storage space. I'd ask it to grind the pump a bit so as to get more in the juice. OK, while I'm at it, I'd ask for it to cut the fruit and put it on the reamer for me, then take out the garbage

 (A third hand would help.) It may leave a bit of pulp in the rind, but very little juice gets left. The machine stays in place on the counter.  If I were looking for perfection, I'd ask for a larger reamer for grapefruit

 I'd ask it to grind the pump a bit so as to get more in the juice. OK, while I'm at it, I'd ask for it to cut the fruit and put it on the reamer for me, then take out the garbage. ;-)  I occasionally see the question of whether it can juice anything but citrus. No, it can't

I have two other citrus juicers, including one with a handle, and a Cusinart I just got which has no handle. The Breville costs way more than the Cuisinar ($24)t, and probably doesn't juice much better than the Big Boss ($116), but the Breville feels so much better to operate, a superior experience, intangible advantages, like an expensive sports car. I'll keep the Big Boss as an emergency back-up, but the Cuisinart, no handle, is strictly for those who don't care about giving their palm an uncomfortable work-out, or who think it's not worth the dough to get a handle juicer.

I had another citrus juicer that required I press down hard while the juicer spun around. I make a pitcher of juice at a time (we have a lot of citrus trees) and after a while my wrists and hands would ache. I don't have arthritis, it just required consistent, long-held pressure to extract the juice. Plus, it was noisy - couldn't listen to music or watch tv while juicing

 It got to where I didn't want to make juice. I had finally had it and went looking for another juicer and found this Breville model. Wow! What a difference. It's very quiet and FAST

 Wow! What a difference. It's very quiet and FAST. Whoosh, Whoosh, and the orange, grapefruit, lime is DONE! It's actually FUN! The handle makes juicing a very comfortable process and there's something so satisfying about watching the juice pour out of the little spout. The strainer and juice-catcher below it are much larger than my previous model so I don't have to flush it out as often - so the overall time it takes to juice 20 oranges has gone way down

 This is the unit that goes in, your plunger. This is the auger unit that pushes everything through either the screen, which is the screening unit right here, or a blank template, which is part of the reason why I purchased this over some of the other vertical units is that it comes with this. So you can put frozen fruits in here and you can mash them up, or you can even make pasta. They have a few different extruders here for this, so this one's like angel hair pasta

 I've tried using measuring cups, but then this pushes this out and then sometimes the pulp will actually fall back into here, which is really bad. That's the point of juicing is not having the pulp at this time. And yeah, so this is something that could use a little bit of work and I don't know how you really do that. You'd have to make this longer, which really wouldn't benefit anybody

 You can rotate these in and out, which makes it a lot easier because this is specially designed. It kind of makes it hard. So some advantages and some cons. The big advantage and still the reason why I got this is just how easy it is to clean

 I tried the same apples in this machine here. I bought them from the same store, same apples, same brand, everything, and it tasted horrible still. And I was just, I was kind of surprised by that, to tell you the truth, but for some reason with the way this works, it just does not get the same quality out of the juice that this does.  Hi everybody, and I'm here to review the Omega NC800HDS.

 This is a slow juicing machine as compared to the one that I've reviewed before, which

 is my fast speed one that I have that I really don't use anymore due to purchasing this unit.

 I got this unit over some of the other slow juicers that are vertical because this one's

 I don't know if that's true or not, but I have found this one to be very easy to clean.

 I have to say that it also has some extra parts to it, and I like the way it's designed.

 I'm hoping that this will last for the 10 years they claim, but we will see.

 So first thing first, this is the base unit.

 It comes with a nice cable that has a plastic catch to wrap the cord up, which is good.
