I do know that my old Omega centrifugal juicer can't do this job at all - it prefers carrots. So anyway, I got 6 cups of juice from those 3 pounds of marionberries, including a quarter-cup from running the seeds-pulp through again. It went very quickly, much faster than putting them thru a blender to get puree, and then hand-straining the puree thru a fine sieve to get the seeds out - which wastes a lot of juice and is a pain in the butt, literally - usually takes me a good 30-45 minutes that seems much longer. This went in about 15 minutes, no straining (again, literally), and I got about 25% more juice than doing it by blender and hand

I’ve had my Nama J2 for a week now and I love it. I’ve previously had a Breville Juice Fountain and an Omega horizontal juicer and this is by far the best of both worlds. I cut the celery into thin pieces about 1/2-1" and it goes right through with hardly a need to plunge it. Then I make my green juice using cut-up fruits/vegs: parsley, burdock root, apples, asparagus ends, cucumbers, and whatever else I have, finishing with celery to clean it all out. This little juicer loves making melon juice from the rind, too; that's where the best nutrition is (in the rinds and stems of f&v's), so don't discard your stems! I love teaching others how to juice for healing and just love Tribest's variety of quality products. It's not a great yield, but probably the best you'll find for this price range. This thing is a beast, it's very very heavy and bulky. It requires constant cleaning and scrubbing for the strainer, the juice catcher, the pulp container, the blade receptacle and any sort of lids associated with this. It's a pain and it's extremely time-consuming

Was great with apples and carrots but the next day I tried celery and spinach And had to clean out the basket twice even though I cut the vegetables up small enough and followed all the directions. The hole that lets the pulp out of the sieve is very small so gets clogged up and the pulp backs up into the basket. I wanted some thing that I could make my juice fresh every morning but I couldn’t even imagine having to deal with this every day! Item was returned after three days of trying.

My advice: if you already know you love juicing, and you're sure you want to commit to it, skip right to buying one of the high-end expensive units.
