 Let's take a look at the pulp. you'll see that a lot of it went through. However, if you like massaged kale, this cuts down on the work and you can use the pulp that way as a salad or you can also just put it throw it into soups. but for solid produce I Really like the Breville because it's just so easy to assemble you can throw the whole produce in and so I would say for the ease and convenience and as far as centrifugal disks go, it really feels like it has a lot of power and I've enjoyed using it and it's just so easy and convenient to use

 As you can see here, it is dishwasher safe however with the jug in the top part I Clean and dry by hand just because I don't like water stains so in review I do recommend this Breville for the price point compared with its quality I think it's worth it if you really want to focus on getting more green juices into your diet. and I'll still get green juices with the Breville but the leafy greens are pretty tough I do get juice out of it. but like I said again, I I'll just try to utilize the leafy greens. the leafy green pulp the best I can so it really depends what your price range is

 It's not a great yield, but probably the best you'll find for this price range. This thing is a beast, it's very very heavy and bulky. It requires constant cleaning and scrubbing for the strainer, the juice catcher, the pulp container, the blade receptacle and any sort of lids associated with this. It's a pain and it's extremely time-consuming

 I will taste it. For you guys though, it's not bad. I don't like kale and I don't like kale juice, but the apple makes it drinkable. Make sure you clean the juicer right after you finish juicing, especially the mesh filter

 Other parts can be put on the top rack of your dishwasher. I'll choose apples, carrots, oranges, and kale to see how the Breville performs. I'm gonna juice three medium apples. The machine is plugged in and once you turn the toggle to high or slow, the machine will automatically start

 The pitcher just slides out. Move the locking arm down, take the food pusher out, lift up the cover, hold the base of the juicer, and turn the spout. This lifts right up, hold the filter bolts around upside down, and the filter comes right out. Now we'll assemble the unit, put the filter bolts around on top of the base

 I've got four oranges here. Make sure they're peeled and most of the white pith is removed. otherwise your juice will be bitter. so I'll juice my oranges on the low setting

Works well and the left over pulp is fairly dry. I agree with some other reviews that you have to be fast to cover the feed tube as it will shoot product out of the top instantly. Works well overall, but is very time consuming to clean. Consider a Masticating Juicer for small batches

 Turning the speed down for these gives much better results. (I've watched product reviews that demonstrate less extraction, as well. But in all cases, the reviewers left the speed switched up to high.)  Clean up -- the juicer's parts are few and come apart and reassemble quickly

 Clean up is a breeze, except for the few minutes it takes to carefully scrub the filter. I quickly rinse and set out the pieces on a towel on my counter between juicing (which is three times a day when following the Reboot). Before bed, I reassemble "the beast" (as I affectionately call this giant contraption), so it's bright and shining and waiting for me in the morning.  I'd also ask for a way to attach the receiving container so it can't slip away. I'd ask for it somehow to take up less storage space.  (A third hand would help.) It may leave a bit of pulp in the rind, but very little juice gets left. The machine stays in place on the counter.  If I were looking for perfection, I'd ask for a larger reamer for grapefruit

 I'd ask it to grind the pump a bit so as to get more in the juice. OK, while I'm at it, I'd ask for it to cut the fruit and put it on the reamer for me, then take out the garbage. ;-)  I occasionally see the question of whether it can juice anything but citrus. No, it can't

I have two other citrus juicers, including one with a handle, and a Cusinart I just got which has no handle. The Breville costs way more than the Cuisinar ($24)t, and probably doesn't juice much better than the Big Boss ($116), but the Breville feels so much better to operate, a superior experience, intangible advantages, like an expensive sports car. I'll keep the Big Boss as an emergency back-up, but the Cuisinart, no handle, is strictly for those who don't care about giving their palm an uncomfortable work-out, or who think it's not worth the dough to get a handle juicer.

A superior juicing experience

I had another citrus juicer that required I press down hard while the juicer spun around. I make a pitcher of juice at a time (we have a lot of citrus trees) and after a while my wrists and hands would ache. I don't have arthritis, it just required consistent, long-held pressure to extract the juice. Plus, it was noisy - couldn't listen to music or watch tv while juicing

 It got to where I didn't want to make juice. I had finally had it and went looking for another juicer and found this Breville model. Wow! What a difference. It's very quiet and FAST

 Wow! What a difference. It's very quiet and FAST. Whoosh, Whoosh, and the orange, grapefruit, lime is DONE! It's actually FUN! The handle makes juicing a very comfortable process and there's something so satisfying about watching the juice pour out of the little spout. The strainer and juice-catcher below it are much larger than my previous model so I don't have to flush it out as often - so the overall time it takes to juice 20 oranges has gone way down
