So I look for things with really long straps and that stay down and don't ride up. In terms of bralettes, if that's an option for you, my favorite for a long time was the Bravissimo Zara. It has a wide band, wide straps, and sits very low on the back.

This is my first ever Reddit post and I hope that I’m doing it right.

The calculator said that I am a UK 36f. Purchased a panache cleo bra and okay, it fits, I guess. Tight in the band but whatever.  The problem is that I have scoliosis and some other spinal problems and hypermobility disorder (doctor suspects it could be full blown EDS) and I just want to cry wearing this bra. It lies right over the worst part of my back. And constricts it. And two minutes of wearing this bra has undone progress that I’ve made there.

I just want to cry - why can’t I find a supportive and comfortable bra? Let alone an attractive one? 

So, any recommendations for a supportive  bra in my size with a wider band and wider straps? Bonus points if it is also pretty. And soft material? 

Also, is there anyone else with these problems or is it literally just me?

Also, personally I really like band-and-cup-sized bralettes, particularly bravissimo Zara. They don't lift the boobs up crazy high, let them be flatter, but still provide separation between boob and torso so you don't get skin rubbing on skin.

Maybe its a preference thing and this really is the right “fit” for me but it makes my breasts so pointy looking and separated yet squished to the center (maybe doesn’t make sense?) to the point where I feel uncomfortable and self conscious about them and I feel like the right bra should not do that. Since my breasts are pendulous I know that means they are automatically projected, but does that mean all the bras Im going to try are going to make me look pointy and I just have to get used to it? Is it just a big cup phenomenon that happens? Or are there bras out there for my measurements and fullness that will give me the rounder shape that I prefer?

So this is the Bliss Bra from the brand Harper and Wild in the color black and I got a size extra small and something that I tend to look more in bras, especially being a smaller chested person, is that they kind of combine comfort with also keeping things in place. and often a traditional underwire bra really doesn't meet that need for me. So something like this really is perfect. It's incredibly comfortable

Hi, all! I got fitted a few months back at a boutique, and they put me in a 32D. However, the calculator is suggesting a 30G. My measurements are as follows:

Loose Underbust: 30.5"

Snug Underbust: 29.5"

Tight Underbust: 29"

Standing Bust: 35"

Leaning Bust: 37"

Lying Bust: 35"

Wacoal Softly Styled Bra, 32D--my least favorite of the three. Seems to fit well barring a bit of wrinkling above my nipples, but my breasts are very wideset (and greater than 90º angle between pointing nipples), and this bra does nothing to reign that in. I really dislike how it looks under a shirt (somewhat conical), and it doesn't feel very supportive.

Wacoal Soft Sense Convertible Bra, 32D--not so bad, fits well though again a bit of puckering above the nipple. I don't dislike it as much under a shirt, but it still doesn't do much to reign in the sideboob and my breasts still appear somewhat conical. Plus, the lace is quite itchy for me.

Wacoal Basic Beauty Spacer Underwire T-Shirt Bra, 32D--My favorite of the three. Provides more shaping, though the cups wrinkle/fold massively above the nipples if I bend forward (this sounds somewhat normal, though?

Wacoal's wire speacing seems to work for me decently given how far apart my breasts are, but their sizing doesn't go to 30 for many styles. It does seem like the cups are almost too big, or perhaps just the wrong shape? I will say for all three, it does somewhat feel like the straps will fall off even when well adjusted, and I have very narrow and sloping shoulders. None of the bras are painful or dig in.

And finally, this is my first foray into "real bras" in many years. I am non-binary, and all of the above bras give me a fair bit of dysphoria due to show much they separate and space my breasts. Wondering if there is a supportive option that will provide minimal separation but good support and prevent the conical look.
