So I look for things with really long straps and that stay down and don't ride up. In terms of bralettes, if that's an option for you, my favorite for a long time was the Bravissimo Zara. It has a wide band, wide straps, and sits very low on the back.

This is my first ever Reddit post and I hope that I’m doing it right.

The calculator said that I am a UK 36f. Purchased a panache cleo bra and okay, it fits, I guess. Tight in the band but whatever.  The problem is that I have scoliosis and some other spinal problems and hypermobility disorder (doctor suspects it could be full blown EDS) and I just want to cry wearing this bra. It lies right over the worst part of my back. And constricts it. And two minutes of wearing this bra has undone progress that I’ve made there.

I just want to cry - why can’t I find a supportive and comfortable bra? Let alone an attractive one? 

So, any recommendations for a supportive  bra in my size with a wider band and wider straps? Bonus points if it is also pretty. And soft material? 

Also, is there anyone else with these problems or is it literally just me?

Also, personally I really like band-and-cup-sized bralettes, particularly bravissimo Zara. They don't lift the boobs up crazy high, let them be flatter, but still provide separation between boob and torso so you don't get skin rubbing on skin.

Now, I discovered this reddit and measured myself I came out to a 36FF which makes sense because my freyas are still good on the cup (still a little pointy like i said) but are too tight in the band (I’ve gained weight). I ordered the same Freya bras in my new size but wanted to try a few others so I got the Panache Envy and was excited to try it on. I saw so many threads raving about it and that it was a pretty safe bet.

As soon as I tried on the Envy I hated the shape it made my breasts. Maybe its a preference thing and this really is the right “fit” for me but it makes my breasts so pointy looking and separated yet squished to the center (maybe doesn’t make sense?) to the point where I feel uncomfortable and self conscious about them and I feel like the right bra should not do that. Since my breasts are pendulous I know that means they are automatically projected, but does that mean all the bras Im going to try are going to make me look pointy and I just have to get used to it? Is it just a big cup phenomenon that happens? Or are there bras out there for my measurements and fullness that will give me the rounder shape that I prefer?

First try- Panache Envy ... hopeless already. Please help!!

 But even the 28E had a little bit of room at the top of the cup, even though it was way too tight at the bottom or the cup. Idk, The shape of the cups was weirdly roomy at the top.  Panache Andorra wire-free: the 30E fit, but pushed the boobs together slightly whereas the cleo bra keeps them separate. Otherwise this was the closest second choice because it was comfortable and also gave maybe a little more support than the cleo

... but i wanted a bra designed to separate and lift, and the separation was much better with the Cleo bralette

I wear a 30E in Cleo underwire bras, and this fit true to size too (i also ordered a 28F and 30F to compare sizes since i wasn’t sure if the bralette would be as true to size as underwire bras, but it is). I hate wearing underwire bras for more than a few hours because i get bruises on my rib-cage, so i have been trying to find a good bralette with an elastic band instead of underwire and this one from Cleo has the most support. It is also the best at keeping the boobs separated. (they don’t really stay separated more than maybe an hour or two and need to be re-adjusted, However all of the other bralettes i tried squished the boobs together immediately, or didn’t provide much support

 The XS size fit me perfectly with full coverage, even though i am a 30E. But there was almost too much fabric— the cup part ended slightly above the start of the boobs, and the material is way too stretchy to give any support.  Clavin klein bralettes: these are way cheaper than anything else but don’t fit anywhere nearly as well, which is not surprising becuase they only come in S/M/L sizes. I can get away with a medium in CK, but the band is a little too big and the cups are a little too small and cause cleavage while also not really offering much support

I love Panache and think this was a good first attempt, but the engineering just wasn't enough for me. I wear a 30GG, fairly projected, wide roots, close set. I have a very short torso too, so maybe that made it harder, but the elastic band immediately rolled into something more like a strap and the actual straps were far too thin and stretchy to support me in any meaningful way. It just needs to be more robust for the larger cup sizes, especially with no wires

I didn't feel like I would need to clip the straps to make them into a racerback, but the cup height was digging into the front of my arm pit

Odd fit

I LOVE Panache, it’s all I purchase, so a slightly cheaper cuter version, YES PLEASE. I’ve tried several Cleo bras and the whole line fits significantly too small. I went up a band AND cup size (36H) from my Panache bras (normally 34GG) for this purchase and it’s still too small. The construction of this bra is just bizarre

. but please, just do better Cleo. We want to love you but your making it kind of hard.

Fit is all wrong
