It can't quite match the sheer number of classes on apps like Peloton or iFit, but JRNY provides plenty of variety, loads of off-the-bike workouts, and it costs less than the competition. The VeloCore also works with Peloton and Zwift through your own device, adding even more workout options. 
We found the 16-inch touchscreen on the VeloCore to be adequate, but it is a fair amount smaller than the screens on other models we tested &#40;the Velocore can also be purchased with a 22-inch screen for a significant bump in price&#41;. The screen also has limited mobility, with a small range of tilt, but no ability to rotate for viewing off the bike. While the JRNY app does offer plenty to satisfy most users, we think those interested purely in live and on-demand studio classes would be better off looking elsewhere. Due to the nature of the bike's design and unique lean feature, it has a slightly larger footprint than other bikes we tested, though this should only matter if you're super tight on space. Otherwise, we think the VeloCore is an excellent bike that offers something unique with its lean feature, plus the variety of the JRNY app and the ability to stream entertainment and work with third-party apps provides lots of options and broadens its appeal.

I've been testing the VeloCore over the past five weeks. I work out on it for about 30 minutes per session, five times a week, and always end my workouts very sweaty, with a feeling of accomplishment.&nbsp;

 So i definitely think this passes a test with how realistic it feels and how you want to feel and, as far as range goes, i think they did great. You can go from almost no resistance to a flat road sensation, all the way up to very tough resistances, while making micro adjustments all the way through. So if you want to push yourself just a little bit harder, you can do that if you want to take just a little bit back so that way, you're not making a big swing back, you just be able to stay working out hard without suddenly it becomes Easy you can do that by making that micro adjustment back so huge range, all sorts of micro adjustments, you're going to be able to dial in exactly what you want and last is top end resistance, and i think again they did very good here. Eventually, i'm sure i'll pull the peloton bike plus or the nordictrack s22i out and really get them next to each other

 It'S laid out! Well, it's easy to get to the content that you want. There'S different layouts for just for you or recommendations, programs explore the world videos favorites and learn where you can learn about the bike and the lean and how to ride this properly and different content like that. For when you're new, when you move between screens, the response is snappy, meaning when you click on something it happens right away. Making you feel like this is well built and on good hardware and the various pieces of core functionality on this machine are built very well

 But part two is going to cover things like did they actually fix it and how did that? Go how i was working with support and because this bike has so much going on, i'm sure i'll be covering things i missed or just didn't cover in this video here. But let's jump in and as always, let's start with resistance and i measure in three categories: how realistic is the ride? How much range do you have and where does the top end resistance fall and when it comes to how realistic the ride is, i think it feels great and you get exactly what you want out of this you're able to dial in different sensations, whether it's a Flat road, mild resistance, all the way up to tough resistance, and they all feel good in those zones. So i definitely think this passes a test with how realistic it feels and how you want to feel and, as far as range goes, i think they did great. You can go from almost no resistance to a flat road sensation, all the way up to very tough resistances, while making micro adjustments all the way through

 (I love the elliptical, but no longer am allowed to use it because of the bursitis) The seat and the handlebars need to come closer together on the bike. The seat is way too high. The handlebars are way too low. I currently have the handlebars pulled up beyond the recommended limit

 First to the seat which is quite stiff and a little small for me. The seat is adjustable for height but not for angle but does sit level. I replaced it with a more cushy and slightly larger seat that uses standard horizontal wire rails. I had to send the first replacement seat back to Amazon as the adapter for a vertical round tube was apparently welded to the seat rails so was not removable

I am not a cyclist. I bought this specifically for HIIT and for that it works perfectly. Easy to hit and control my heart rate targets. The bike does not do heart rate but I already use a Polar watch for that anyway

Works very well for HIIT

 There is no way to pause the workout. If you stop for more than 2 minutes, it re-sets. Interrupted by the kids? Too bad.

Overall a great bike with two flaws

I have had Concept 2 Rowers in the past and found them to be great for losing weight. I lost 40 lbs by using one over the course of about 6 months without altering my diet. The problem with rowers is most people (including me) never really master the proper technique. We end up using way too much back and arms

No excuses to lose weight when you have one of these.
