 Not at all fade it out, not going to protect me if the strap breaks and I haven't done anything to it that could have cut that other than wear it on my head. So I really hate to give negative reviews like this. but I just have nothing good to say about it and you know as far as I'm concerned by courage, your helmet is chunk and you need to go back to the drawing board on it. It's not gonna save me and a wreck I Don't feel at this point and you know the colour faded out less than two months after I Got it? You know?  People are spending good hard-earned money on products that just don't hold up so you know. They started off the video with some pictures of what my helmet looked like when I got it it was awesome I paid like $40 $50 for this helmet at a bike shop before I started my trip that was nine months ago and now not so good. Top Notch Safety Equipment

Bought the POC Ventral at over $250 and this Smith helmet is so much more comfortable, and the chin strap system is amazingly easy to adjust to fit around your ears and then tighten up to the chin. The POC is “pretty” but the Smith is really nice looking and so much more affordable. Save the cash and use it on bike gloves, socks, etc. Go with the Smith!

I've tried many helmets $100--$300 and I have owned many helmets as a long time ironman triathlete. This one fits perfectly and i don't even notice it when worn because of great ventilation, comfort, and low weight. It's also designed with MIPS safety. Very good job on this helmet Smith
