Boker Kalashnikov vs Gerber Auto Mini Covert Automatic Knife Tactical

Really impressed with the light, for around 30 dollars for a rechargeable it’s a great little daily carry item. Never had a mag tail cap light and it’s very handy.

The spring is very noisy and sounds like it’s rusty or needs some lube both opening and closing. On a positive note good size for the pocket and good on the safety in order to open and close. Overall in my opinion the knife isn’t worth $30 let alone $20.

I’m a bit of a spyderco knife snob and also dig cold Steels, so this knife was a whim purchase.

I am very picky when it comes to automatic knives. I want it to feel sort of unstoppable? Tough, strong, and never giving up. The Kershaw Launch series are all very weak IMO, they don’t have any “umph” to them. Visually pleasing though

This is easily the best knife of its type at this price, what really surprised me was not only the overall quality of the knife but the small attention to detail. The handle and clip was designed with comfort and function in mind and I see no room for improvement, the nice ribbing where your thumb is placed makes for an overall no slip grip. The opening mechanism works flawlessly and with authority, just a tiny amount of play in the blade when open but nothing to be concerned about. The blade came sharp and ready for use, overall fit, feel and function is excellent, IMHO a must have knife at this price

This one only has a thumb screw for opening and the locking mechanism works but no where near as smooth as you would expect. The abs plastic handle scales are bulky and doesn't grip well. I am a Gerber fan and I will make some mods to this knife to make it more comfortable for me but wouldn't buy it again.
