It's not quite a powder ski, it's still a little bit more narrow under foot, but it definitely will be able to float with the tip shape and the tail shape

 And the reason they do that, they add a little bit of carbon in the tips and the tails to reduce that weight, increase that swing, make sure that you can be able to get out of those turns when you want to. Shiva is a pretty versatile ski. It's in their all mountain category, but it can just about go anywhere, especially the Shiva 9 with that 90 waist. It can go on groomed trails, you're going to be able to flex it under foot, get a good carve on that pack powder, but you're also going to be able to take it into deeper powder based on the shape of the ski

 It's definitely geared toward a more advanced intermediate, advanced lady with that metal under foot. It is definitely a little bit aggressive. But because of the tip and tail shape, it is a little bit easier to maneuver. You're going to be able to get out of those turns, you're going to swish your tails when you need to
