Black Diamond Sprinter Headlamp

Positives: with most of the weight in the back and the light itself being very light, this thing stays put! Which is great for night runs. I love the adjustability of the brightness and I had no issue with the battery life. The adjustability of the straps is great, it is pretty easy to get a nice snug fit.

Amazing Headlamp, not designed for Women

Based on these experiences, I would never opt to take this on a backpacking or other overnight outdoor adventure. I will definitely try it for running (it is called the sprinter, after all) as our nights fall earlier and for skiing when the snow falls. I expect it to perform well enough for those activities--which is why I titled this review "a one trick pony."

 I have not tried the headlamp yet with those activities; I make the judgement based on my less than satisfactory experience using it in other activities.

 I loved the red lamp on the back for safety. Great feature.  I wish they could find a way to make the casing for batteries smaller and this still feels bulky.

 I have worn it on multiple evening runs now and the illumination is great and I love the ability to use batteries or recharge. The battery life is more than sufficient for my distance but I'm not an ultra runner so I'm not sure on the longevity yet. I loved the red lamp on the back for safety. Great feature

 The main downside is that this is not super lightweight given the rather bulky & heavy rear light, so this would not be my first choice headlamp model for backpacking trips.

 Just what goes Button: Some of the stuff that I really like about this headlamp: Number one, it colors and like being able to choose between all the different colors. The other thing that I like about this headlamp that it's not too bright when I look at at my dad's face.   This prevents them from blinding their friends and siblings. The color feature is where this device shines. The ability to change the headlamp to multiple different colors keeps them entertained for hours. I highly recommend this product for small campers

I bought this for my 2 girls, 3 and 5. They absolutely love this headlamp. It’s very easy for them to use with adequate lighting. I’m sure there are other lamps with superior lighting, however the white diffusing light is great for kids
