I am a ski instructor and have to be out all day. The days that had a low of about 5 to 8 degrees with a high in the teens and not much wind only required the medium to low setting and one set of batteries lasted all day. At those settings, my fingers didn't feel warm - which I don't want - the just didn't feel cold or felt slightly cold. All it takes is the temps to drop about 5 degrees and the winds to pick up for me to need two sets of batteries (which I have) to last all day

I Have Taynods, so having my hands warm is paramount to having a comfortable ski day. During snowy days the gloves got wet and soaked through to the inside. So on snowy days an alternate glove is best. NOTE this was the expedition glove purchased in 2018

These are not good gloves, battery or not. I’ve endured about 60 days in these gloves and they are only reasonably warm north of 30 Fahrenheit, also the moisture buildup makes it colder and clammy. The quality and construction are low standard as well, the pretty yellow stichings on palm/thumb are popping at the seams already. Another worthless and expensive outdoor equipment

They are pretty warm but aren’t holding up very well. I bought them for skiing and they are already starting to rip and show signs of wear after just 9 days of use.

The gloves are too tight to go over jackets and too bulky to go under. The cuff sort of sits uncomfortable neither in nor out. The on/off switch glows in the dark which looks odd.

I would highly recommend going down a size. If I had ordered a large it would have been too big. They are a bit pricey but if they keep my hands warm they are worth the price!
