 So how do we do it? Rub thoroughly into wet or dry clean leather using your fingers paying special attention to the seams remove any access with the cloths buff to a shine. All right so these are new these are my what are these ones these are black diamond as well so these are my light duty gloves so these are for these are like I use these a lot for skinning up or just on warm days like anything above zero basically these are great so I only what I only think I did them once last year. I'm just gonna plop some on here like so and then just rub it in I'm just gonna rub it in yeah your hands get gross doing this but this stuff does work so if you haven't done this to your leather gloves this costs 11 12 bucks and it is like very good to do that one do this one yeah so you just rub it all in there there plus it also keeps maintains the subtleness of your gloves keeps them from getting stiff and then it's going to take cloth paper towel and that's it one pair done all right so let's do the new ones same thing squirts them on here get it on all the leather parts so yeah rub it all in I don't think you need to do too much but you know like just like that is a lot so if you can see how much that is it's just like a dollop rub it all in and just rub it on the leather part I don't think it works on the nylon or the cordura that's there I think I need a bit more here so it definitely changed the color a bit to a bit darker which I'm okay with I'm just going to put a bit more rub that in yeah they definitely got a bit darker but the tan just looks like a nice maybe a nicer brown color now all right and then just same thing just give it a little buff here so just a little buff and there we go we're good to go hey guys if you like my videos don't forget to hit that like button subscribe if you haven't already leave a comment let me know what you think of these black diamond guide gloves maybe you have some and you have great experience with them or maybe you have some and you absolutely hate them either way I'd like to know and we'll see you on the next one all right so these gloves I gotta say it's been kind of like on and off rainy sort of wet and my hands are warm they're dry and uh yeah I kind of like them good purchase

These are new for me this season.  I have skied with them a few days now in the cold and wet.  So far they are warm and dry!  

Don't forget to Waterproof them before using. The NIKWAX waterproofing for leather works great. It also keeps your gloves supple.

I did find I could turn the GoPro on and off most of the time but not always.

So far a great glove for me. Let's see how they do after a full season of skiing.

Well, they seem warm but small. I don't have large hands and I bought these for my husband for Christmas who also doesn't have very large hands and read reviews that they run small so got XL..

is rad!  The waterproofing is great, and the warmth is excellent.  Recommended (but not at list price).

I was just really hoping to find gloves that kept my fingers warmer without having to resort to mittens; these did not deliver IMO. It might be possible that the XL size was just not big enough, and hoping once they're "broken in" more, that might help.

Well, after reading a ton of reviews about these gloves being "warm," I feel misled. I first tried them out when it was -6, with a -20 windchill on the ski hill, and as usual, I would expect any gloves to only hold up finger warmth for so long, and the tips of my fingers obviously became quite cold. I thought skiing with them in much warmer temps, closer to 30, might make a difference; nope, my 20+yr old leather Rausch thinsulate gloves worked just as well as these for finger warmth, so I was quite disappointed.

Not sure if worth the price.

It's gonna be my new favorite pair of gloves

 You've got this built-up, it's goat skin leather in both the palm and the back of the hand. You do have built-up padding on the knuckles of the glove, also across the back of the hand. This is gonna protect your hand if you're skiing out of bounds, any impact to the back of the hand, the knuckles area. Certainly going to keep you nice and safe and comfortable

Wore them in the Rockies snowboarding. Def the warmest gloves made as I have tried many high end brands. More dexterity than reviews claim, and good looking. Highly recommend

 The fingers and palm are very thick so you lose some dexterity but worth having in the cold. The liners run up against a watch which is a little annoying and the pinky finger had some issues but I think as the gloves break in, this will resolve itself.

I took these on a test run for a week on Mt. Rainier in the middle of February. They are definitely warm. With the Nikwax coating, they shed water easily

They are not overly bulky so mobility is good. They fit snugly, but roomy enough to wear them over liner gloves if I need to.
