So I got them as an alternative to my military issued winter gloves which I lost in the field. These are less bulkier than military one but still give the same warmth so that’s good. At some point I may need to beeswax the gloves as suggested to make them last longer, to me that’s good I always like to maintain my equipments.

Well, they seem warm but small. I don't have large hands and I bought these for my husband for Christmas who also doesn't have very large hands and read reviews that they run small so got XL..

Had to return. Not true to size. Way too small even after following manufacturers sizing recommendations. Can't comment on functionality but they look fantastic

Really like these leather, triple baked, waterproof gloves. Have a polydacdil cat he likes to bite but can't bite through these gloves. Side note, the great american author, Earnest Hemingway, used to raise these type of cats.

Well, after reading a ton of reviews about these gloves being "warm," I feel misled. I first tried them out when it was -6, with a -20 windchill on the ski hill, and as usual, I would expect any gloves to only hold up finger warmth for so long, and the tips of my fingers obviously became quite cold. I thought skiing with them in much warmer temps, closer to 30, might make a difference; nope, my 20+yr old leather Rausch thinsulate gloves worked just as well as these for finger warmth, so I was quite disappointed.

These gloves are warm! Reviewers who complain about warmth would probably find most gloves cold and they should really consider mitts instead. The best gloves will still not be as warm as a decent pair of mitts. But, as far as gloves go, these are very warm.

They leaked a little after a few hours but they are very durable and well made. I would recommend getting some beeswax to apply before using them.
