As a comparison, the Black Diamond Mercury Mitt, which I also own, is noticeably warmer. I swapped these for the Mercurys midday yesterday. The draw back to them is that they are a full mitt. BUT, they are almost half the price

Fingers are much to short to fit. Other than that quality is terrific and they are very warm. 4 Stars because of the fit issue.
