Black Diamond Dawn Patrol vs Helly Hansen Alpha 3.0

I tried on a L that a friend had and it did fit well. So my tip would be to size down one full size. The cut is definitely not a an athletic type cup, very roomy.

I returned the XL I ordered because it didn't fit and bought the XXL. This jacket fit, but the sleeves were too long for me. I was willing to have it altered, but the color wasn't the red shown on the website, rather it was closer to orange. Really disappointed

Hood is adjustable to not block field of vision. Finally it looks good and fits right to wear with street clothes in business casual (at least until it gets dilapidated from the heavy adventure use mine sees.) Somehow its got a trim fit that also allows layering good enough for lower 48 summits.

It's graphite blue. It's so hard to find a jacket that's cool and dark but isn't black. So graphite blue and I love the fluorescent accents on the zip...

We have gussets for arms and underarm pit zips for extra breathability. Dawn Patrol Hybrid main, jacket and pants.
