 I'd prefer a little more pulp than the wide open option but it's not a deal breaker. Easy to clean too! I put all the removable parts in the top basket of the dishwasher but I don't use the heat dry.

Does exactly what I needed

I bought this model juicer as the previous model that I had from Black and Decker for about 6 years chipped a plastic piece that held the juicer section in place. This model is similar with some improvements in the overall design however it is WAY LOUDER than the previous model. I'm not sure if mine is defective or not but it produces quality juice.

 For example: The plastic construction is very flimsy, the crack for the cord wrap is a heaven for collecting juice particles, hence a big cleaning problem. There is not enough space for the cord to wrap completely, Instead, at the end, there is an attempt to house the plug end of the cord into the bottom and this does not work. To me, there was little, if any, testing of this product before it was released to the public. It does have one thing going for it, it is indeed priced well!

Although this juicer does work as expected it is very cheaply built. I would spend a little more and get one which more durable next time. Does exactly what you bought it for, with just a couple of nitpicks. For starters, I didn't read the instructions before use, because operating it seems fairly straightforward, but if I had, I would have known that you shouldn't use it for more than 10 minutes at a time, or the motor overheats or whatever - it stops functioning electronically if you overuse it in one juicing. But still, even if it's not juicing automatically, it still functions as a manual juicer.  Kinda reminds me of that Mitch Hedberg joke: "Escalators can never break, they can only become stairs

One minor flaw, but otherwise worth it

I owned a prior iteration that was noisy but did the job, a little noisy, but a 3.5 star. This model, CJ630 was so noisy B&D customer service after hearing it on the phone, said return it. Replaced with the same model [hope springs eternal] and it, too, will be returned; it is not as bad as the first but still unacceptably noisy

 It over-captures pulp which plugs the strainer. A lousy product which I would not recommend unless you wear ear plugs and choose to clean the strainer after each orange.

Do they make a good one?

Love it! I boutght this juicer because I juice lemons every week to add a spoonfull or two to my water that I drink every mornin. Wow! I should have bought this a long, long time ago, it saves me so much time and effort!

I have an Omega VSJ843 and I love it. It’s so easy to clean and you don’t have to chop food up too small. It’s also very efficient and has been shown to extract more juice than others in some side by side comparisons.

I was advised by a health practitioner to get the Jason Vale Juice Master juicer which costs £250 and he said this is the best quality entry level juicer. The reviews on the website, for this juicer, are all 5 stars so I have no idea if it’s good or not.

I then compared this to the Fridja masticating juicer which is £140 and the specs are practically the same however this does have some bad reviews, saying you need to chop into tiny pieces, it takes 25 mins to clean and that the juice is never clear with lots of pulp and also the juicer gets clogged, it’s weak etc….

So my question is does anyone know if either of these are good and if the Jason Vale Juicer master is superior to the Fridja?

I’m looking for a juicer that is easy to clean, masticating/cold press so I can get maximum nutrient content and also made out of safe materials which aren’t BPA plastic. So if anyone has any other suggestions on what other juicers I should get please let me know. I don’t mind spending a bit if it’s worth the price but this is also my first juicer so I’m testing out if I like juicing or not.

Looking for best cold press /masticating juicer UK

 Produces pulp (I don't like pulp). Veggies have to be pushed into the auger with the pusher. Unlike the vertical models, the veggies don't self-feed into the machine by gravity.  Bottom line: As of June 1, 2015, in my opinion the Omega VSJ843QS is the best put veggie juicer on the market

  My two biggest criteria for selection were: #1- The juicer had to extract the MAXIMUM JUICE from the food, and #2 - The juice had to be EASY TO CLEAN.  What I did first was to look(no reading needed) at the instructions so after I juiced I would know how to take it apart and put it back together again.  Juiced 5 pieces of celery, 1 cucumber and 1/2 and apple. I cut up the celery but now I know to do it smaller. The Smaller the better on stringy veggies

  The result is a better juice than I got with the centrifuge type. More juice and less wet pulp. So far so good. I will update in a month or so to see if I am still as happy maybe put another star or take a star away

Which Juicer to get!!!!?????

 ,,,Dissapointed I went back 2 my Centrifuge juicer takes BIG pieces get the job done really QUICKLY. Yes less juice, yes Way noiser, Yes more oxidation But so well worth the time & EZ clean up. Quiet, nice looking horrible 2 take apart to clean Fiber comes out the chute nice & dry but once U stop juicer pull off the top U can see lots of very WET fiber, Suction hold the auger i making it difficult 2 pull out, hard 2 grasp on 2 it. Have 2 clean it out between my juicing time,2 clean it. Have 2 make things line up, does not just slice in and done WAY @ MUCH WORK 2 JUICE . I juice a lot at one sitting and this is a Big Waste of my time and energy 2 take apart at least 10 diff times at one juicing Sent it back I guess 4 those who just juice a little bit at a time it is OK It is NOT good for leafy greens eg spinache ALSO U have to cut everything up

2 much work

 Now only two months later the juicer is broken and in a box, never to be used again, the seller only had a 30 day warranty. If you plan on using a juicer with any frequency, plan on buying another juicer and not from this seller. I had high hopes for this juicer only to be very, very disappointed in its acutal lack of performance. Save yourself the time and money and look for a horizontal auger type juicer, they last longer

 This juicer is very quiet and the wide auger with low RMP does a great job of giving us the most juice and therefore bang for our buck. So make sure to include this juicer in your research and save yourself a whole lot of time. If you find something better, please let me know!

 DISCLAIMER, I am writing this after the first use and will update later if my experience changes. This Slow Juicer is the bomb, It squeezes 4 cups of Pineapple juice out of one Pineapple, whereas we typically only get 3 cups. Try getting those results for Pineapple in any other juicer. We just sliced the pieces and dropped them in the chute, didn't even have to press down on the plunger
