 I'd prefer a little more pulp than the wide open option but it's not a deal breaker. Easy to clean too! I put all the removable parts in the top basket of the dishwasher but I don't use the heat dry.

It's not fancy but it takes all the juice out of the oranges I throw at it. Nice to have fresh orange juice in the morning! Does exactly what I needed

I bought this model juicer as the previous model that I had from Black and Decker for about 6 years chipped a plastic piece that held the juicer section in place. This model is similar with some improvements in the overall design however it is WAY LOUDER than the previous model. I'm not sure if mine is defective or not but it produces quality juice.

 For example: The plastic construction is very flimsy, the crack for the cord wrap is a heaven for collecting juice particles, hence a big cleaning problem. There is not enough space for the cord to wrap completely, Instead, at the end, there is an attempt to house the plug end of the cord into the bottom and this does not work. To me, there was little, if any, testing of this product before it was released to the public. It does have one thing going for it, it is indeed priced well!

Does exactly what you bought it for, with just a couple of nitpicks. For starters, I didn't read the instructions before use, because operating it seems fairly straightforward, but if I had, I would have known that you shouldn't use it for more than 10 minutes at a time, or the motor overheats or whatever - it stops functioning electronically if you overuse it in one juicing. But still, even if it's not juicing automatically, it still functions as a manual juicer.  Kinda reminds me of that Mitch Hedberg joke: "Escalators can never break, they can only become stairs

One minor flaw, but otherwise worth it

I owned a prior iteration that was noisy but did the job, a little noisy, but a 3.5 star. This model, CJ630 was so noisy B&D customer service after hearing it on the phone, said return it. Replaced with the same model [hope springs eternal] and it, too, will be returned; it is not as bad as the first but still unacceptably noisy

 It over-captures pulp which plugs the strainer. A lousy product which I would not recommend unless you wear ear plugs and choose to clean the strainer after each orange.

Love it! I boutght this juicer because I juice lemons every week to add a spoonfull or two to my water that I drink every mornin. Wow! I should have bought this a long, long time ago, it saves me so much time and effort!

Hi guys! this is the Breville Je98xl juicer. We're going to test it by juicing some kale, carrots, oranges, and apples, but before we do that, let me tell you about some of the features of the juicer. Comes with this assist plug which is a great design because it's easy to plug in and remove. It has 850 watts of power, comes with a jug to collect the juice, and it holds about one liter or thirty four ounces

 We have a beautiful bunch of organic red kale and organic green kale and they've both been washed so we're going to choose the kale on the low setting. We were only able to get a little bit of juice out of the two bunches of kale and I have all of this pulp. So I'm going to try to reduce this and see if we can get any more juice out of it. So we reduce the pulp from the kale and we got a little bit more juice out of it

 The feed chute is three inches wide so you can juice some fruits and vegetables whole That'll save you some time on cutting up the produce. That's two settings: the low speed is for softer fruits and vegetables like melons and leafy greens, and the high speed is for harder fruits and vegetables like apples and carrots. The cutting disc is stainless steel and so is the mesh filter basket for spinning out the pulp. The body is very sturdy and all the materials that come in contact with the food are BPA free

 Like I said before, it has this large chute in here and then right here is the strainer with all the blades down here. it has a lot of different blades and they are really sharp and they do go in different directions right down here which is great for getting the most juice out of your fruits and vegetables. and then we have this piece down here. This is the chute that your juice comes out of so I'm just going to put this all back into place and I love that this is so easy to assemble so you can see we're done

 So the takeaway from this juicer is it is going to juice your fruits and vegetables super quickly. You're not going to have any issues with things like carrots and harder fruits and vegetables, and if you're going to be using it daily, I feel like it's a really great option. I can already tell this is not going to be hard to clean um like some other cold press juicers for example. So if that works for you, I feel like this is a really great option

 It doesn't work for everybody. I like to take this end piece over here where all the scraps go, all the pulp goes and I like to put a plastic baggie in here. Um, that way you can put it in your compost, You can put it in your garden or whatever you do with your pulp and your scraps. Um, that way it's a lot easier to clean up for this section of it

 All right. So this is a centrifugal juicer, which means that has a spinning blade which breaks down the fruits and vegetables to extract the juice. Something that I really like about centrifugal juicers in general is that they juice a lot quicker and they're usually easier to clean to start out. I just this is something that works for me

 4. I took the advice of other reviewers and put a hard fruit or veggie in first, then packed in my kale and spinach then put another hard fruit on top. My best results were when I put the hard fruit on the bottom, packed the greens in mixed with a juicy fruit like a little pineapple, orange, tomato or lemon, then put a hard carrot or celery on top. I got the most juice with the least pulp using that technique

 It's darned quiet compared to my Vitamix blender!!! 9. Oh!! And I also mix wheat grass in with my greens when I juice. I don't know how much of the wheat grass just gets tossed in with the pulp but I'm putting it in the mix and hoping for the best!!!  Physically, I am so excited!!! I figured I would see if I could tolerate vegetables this way with the pulp and fiber removed so they would be easier for my beleaguered digestive system to absorb.
