I bought this model juicer as the previous model that I had from Black and Decker for about 6 years chipped a plastic piece that held the juicer section in place. Cleaning was a breeze, and at the risk of sounding like I'm bragging compared to other users who spoke about cleaning, I didn't have any difficulty separating the strainer pieces. The trick is to push in the tabs on the bottom side and carefully pry it apart.
