It blends ok but not well enough, not enough power to blend frozen fruit for smoothies s I would dare use ice . I love the separate jar. It's a possibility that it will be returned.

I did also ad about a half cup of milk. I used the "smoothie" setting and all this did was make the smoothie stuck at the bottom. I felt as if the motor was going to burn since the blades were stuck at the bottom and not even moving the liquid around. This blender has so much power, I even used the high setting and boy that couldn't even get through that

I was not disappointed! At first, I made almond milk on the milkshake setting, but there were pieces of almonds left. But when I tried making more almond milk on the high setting - perfect almond milk!!! Also, it makes thick sauces, almond butter, and blends things like kale, etc. that I could not do with my other one. This blender is fantastic! Also, Oster is the only blender in this price range that has a glass jar base that does not break on you! (see the pic) The cheap plastic parts of other blenders break by just pushing on them!!! And this blender is quieter - nice!!! And the glass jar is a bonus!!!! I would never buy a vitamix due to their plastic jars
