Black+Decker 4-Slice TO1755SB vs Hamilton Beach 6-slice 31411

If you don't place two slices side by side in the front to back center of the rack the outer edges toward the door are burnt while the bread top center is barely toasted and the bottom is just short of burnt. In the center of the rack, side by side, the bread top shows little color while the bottom has stripes of almost burnt and between them it's ok. If I get the top the way I like it the bottom is burnt.

As far as it functioning as an oven, it's great. It appears to heat things much more evenly/thoroughly than our last one.

I gave this toaster oven five stars because it is very good for the price. However, if you are willing to spend an additional $50 - $100, you can purchase a higher quality, better designed product. --- I am mostlyhappy with this Hamilton Beach 31411. But I would vastly prefer the absence of the bulging back, designed to accommodate a 12" pizza (which I could live without)

This turned out to be a little smaller in capacity despite reading the dimensions on line so if you need one for cooking larger items select another model The brand is a good one from past experience.

I doubt most people have a large round pan like mine and I can not find a 10 x 8 higher sided pan anywhere. Also, unfortunate, my 10 x 8 grill which would go into a bake pan like the one they provide doesn't quite fit. Just 1 inch more would have earned this a 5 star.

Needed to replaced my old toaster oven and this was on sale for $29. So far it works well on bread items but I put some fries in to reheat and it took an eternity whereas my old toaster oven didn’t have a problem. The thing I’m most annoyed with is my old toaster oven had a tray the size of rack and could slide in and out the slots the tray is meant to go in but this toaster oven had a very small tray that does not fit in the slots therefore the only way you can use it is on top of the tray. Such a poor design flaw

Attractive and functional, this 6 slice toaster oven is a welcome addition to my kitchen. The stainless exterior blends in perfectly with my stainless appliances. The oven interior is roomy, and has 3 adjustable rack positions. A baking pan and easy to understand user manual is included

Is advertised to be a toaster, oven, broiler, and/or warmer. I would not use this for broiling. It's too small and would be difficult to clean. The broiler pan is also too small

The Material used in the construction is durable and made of good durable steel and aluminum. It is light weight and easy to carry where ever you feel to take your oven for cooking.

PROS: it is the perfect size for a small but high-end RV and it looks nice sitting on the countertop; also fits within a 12" deep x 12" tall upper cabinet for storage while traveling.

And the outside is easy to clean. The parts and features are to my liking. I like having a crumb tray to catch crumbs of course but also any small spills or oozing from cooked food. The all purpose broiler pan is a must

And for $50! This product is awful, very disappointing. I want to return this but I don’t have the box as it went out with the Christmas trash. My previous convection toaster oven was wonderful so assumed this one would be too, boy wish the old one still worked!

I guess you get what you pay for and next time I will pay more. I have not had a toaster oven in years and have been using a pop up toaster. But this unit is almost the same as the one I used twenty years ago. That's not a complement

You might need to add time or turn back the timer to reduce the time depend on your choice. In the beginning you should watch to find out how it is works. Just be patient. Its helps when you read the instruction booklet

I can fit a 6 cup muffin pan in the oven, and have since started a diet which portions out many meals by cooking single servings in muffin cups. Yes other people have complained about the timer making a ticking bomb noise while it is cooking, but my old one did that too so it doesn't bother me. However this unit also has an "on" spot you can choose, so you could turn it to that and use your own timer without the ticking noise. I personally would rather use the ticking timer because it will shut off the oven when the timer goes off
