This model uses a really simple and efficient design, which keeps the weight down and lets the vacuum strike an optimal balance between runtime and performance. This vacuum's light enough that it can even be used on stairs as long as you find a good way to cradle it.

I would give it 5 stars if there were a better solution for the sensors, like designing the sensor area to accept a clip on block that does what the tape does but is more permanent. The tape works well but is still wonky.

The Attachment That It Came With Doesn't Have Suction All The Way Across, It Only Has A Small Hole So It Doesn't Pick Up As Well As I'd Hoped. Maybe I Can Find Another Attachment And Then It Would Work

The short version; This is a terrific vacuum. My floors have never been cleaner. I am very satisfied with my purchase and could confidently recommend it. I really feel bad for giving it only 3 stars, however, a few minor issues detract from making it the perfect product

Good sucking but the filter is the major issue the material is not easy to clean and dirt get stuck in between. It's small and easy to use but the engine gets hot after 5 min of use it's really not very practical for heavy use.

This vacuum is small but mighty. You won’t be disappointed if you are getting it to use to remove dust and dirt before you clean. I cannot wait to vacuum my entire bathroom top to bottom and then clean. While I have a Kenmore that will do the same thing as this vacuum and more, I still like this one better because it is so easy to carry around

The pros: The suction is pretty good. It is fairly quite and light in weigh. The cons: The power and cord rewinder ‘buttons’ are rectangular silver color plates on each side of the vacuum. The marking on them are so insignificant hard to tell them apart and when the vacuum is turned around the left and the right sides are reversed-I find myself yanking the cord out of the wall rather then hitting the power… I had to mark a big ‘P’ for power on the plate

So here is my issue... I think this is a great vacuum if you have absolutely zero thresholds

Original Review: I really don’t see what all the 5 star reviewers see in this vacuum. It’s decent, but it’s nothing special. Whether it’s a shop vac or a regular household canister vac, usually the ease of use comes down to how well the hose bends and the angle of the connection from the hose to the floor tool that helps keep it flush to the ground. In both cases this vacuum is only ok

It has been reliable and easy to use. - It does a great job of mapping the house and generally runs in a logical way. - One of my favorite parts is that this is a modular design and can EASILY be repaired by anybody of any skill level. For an expensive investment, this was important to me knowing that I can keep it running for years into the future

Within your budget, I'd suggest either the $60 Bissell Zing (bagged) or $70 Eureka Mighty Mite. These can be paired with HEPA bags for much better filtration and cleaning performance as the bag fills up. You can also upgrade the hard floor tools to something well-regarded like a Wessel Werk D330 or RD285 Designation (same manufacturer that makes tools for the high-end vacuum brands).

A week or so ago it received another firmware update. Great value for the price paid.

- it has very powerful suction. It leaves the floors feeling extra clean. Now after a while, if you seem to lose suction, just change the filter for a new one and you will see that the super suction power is restored. Of course, clean the filter after each use, but in my personal experience, after a while it looses suction so at that point, I just replace a filter and the suction comes back 100%

I’ve had this vacuum a little over a month. The filter is at an estimated 49% life left, side brush 62%, and main brush 75%. For perspective, I use this for a ~1200sq ft area with tile and vinyl plank floors. It gets stuck on small rugs sometimes, been meaning to get some carpet tape

10) The vacuum has a pretty small profile so storing it has not been a problem. Things you may want to think about: 1) The vacuum requires two different filters. I haven't had to clean the filters yet because this vacuum is so new. The two filters and their Bissel part numbers are pre-motor filter (203-8426) and post-motor filter (203-8427)

The filter is washable, but we found with the e4 it takes forever to dry. The solution to this is just buying a second filter and swapping them when one needs to be cleaned. Easy peasy. The map function works great, dividing/separating rooms is easy
