I bought this because of the price. I had bought several 250 yard spools and it worked fine but I bought some in bulk and haven’t liked it at all. It got hazy and not as limber very quickly. I’m going to spring for the trilene line in the future

I use this as leader exclusively for larger fish, use the FG knot and never look back.

I bought this brand new again this season for the opening day of Trout season in CT. 6 lb test is what I have always used and this is about the third year in a row I have used Vanish. But I will not be using again, it would tangle at the blink of a eye. When it would cast and feed out it was great, but I spent a good part of the day fixing tangles and not fishing

Old geezer finally switched to fluoro a handful of years ago for bottom contact baits.  I use it as main line, with conditioner, and has never failed me on casting, abrasion resistance, or knot strength.  Even has slightly smaller diameter than 100% Pro fluoro.

I have tied a length of this line with swivels at both ends and attaching those to my caliber and scale. Let's see how it performs

I will be doing more fishing line reviews as well as terminal tackles such as swivels, bait clips, and many more.

Can I recommend this? I do. That's why I feel it's important to know the actual break test (not the advertised specs) of lines so i can use them where it seems fit for purpose.
I only use 15-20lbs lines, with 18 lbs as my personal "sweet spot," as I believe this is sufficient for most fish species that I can catch from the shore.

Now this line might not have reached my 15-20lbs preference, but I will be using this for my light lure fishing so I believe it is sufficient.

Daiwa J Braid Grand 19lbs / 8.5kg Fishing Line Review

 Hello fishing buddies, today we'll be talking about the 19lbs Daiwa J Braid Grand fishing

 So when I reviewed the Daiwa J Braid Grand fishing line, I had the 35lbs multicolored

 I was so impressed with it that I decided to use a lighter version of it to replace

 Click the tab on the upper right corner to view my review of the 35lbs multicolored version

 And like almost every braided fishing line, this one has no memory.

 This is advertised to be 0.13mm in diameter.

 Using my cheap caliper, this line measures to 0.09mm in diameter.

 Moving on to the UV torch night visibility test, compared to the multicolored version,

 It really makes the line stand out during the night versus using a standard torch.

 Moving on to testing the actual break test, again, this is rated to have a break test

 I have had good luck with J-Braid GRAND 8. Only time will tell on the durability. I haven't tried it bass fishing. suppose it will be fine

Wind Knots easy

Not sure if I received a defective line but avoid buying this at all cost since its a waste of money

Yes it causes alot of wind knots and the line breaks easily

 I hope the seller doesn’t give me a hard time with the return and tests the line themselves.

 (Tested 8 times and scale was checked for accuracy) I was very surprised because Diawa J-braid Grand x8 has a great reputation for having actual breaking strengths well in excess of rated strength. Yet, the line I received broke at only 83% of rated strength. I hope the seller doesn’t give me a hard time with the return and tests the line themselves.
