Berkley Trilene Big Game 3 Lb. Spool vs Daiwa J-Braid Grand

I've used this line throughout the years and dollar for dollar, it hard to beat. Tends to work better on baitcasters than spinners. Only thing I dont like is they dont have it in a yellow or high vis orange. I surf fish a lot and the birds tend to see those colors more than the Solar Collector

I have used this line for a while now and it preformed great I used the 20 florocarbon line great for flipping around docks and cover. Strong line, and can't beat it for the price. Only down fall to the line is the thickness of it, however it comes with all higher pound test lines. [This review was collected as part of a promotion

J Braid Grand gives greater distance than most premium brands (Berkley X9 is equal), with less maintenance and greater strength. I’ve tried Spider wire, Kanzen, X9, regular J braid, Smackdown, PowerPro, PowerPro SS v1, and Kastking braided lines to name several and the new J Braid Grand x8 is the overall best thus far.

So, to the guys mentioned in the opening of this review: 1) Do not make claims that products are inferior or no good without first learning about the sport and the equipment used, 2) Never attempt to spool light duty reels with 20-25 pound test line, and 3), If the fish you are pursuing breaks 20 pound test BG, I say leave them alone. They will never be caught on a rod and reel.

I hope the seller doesn’t give me a hard time with the return and tests the line themselves.
